Unique and atmospheric the first one is.. and I like how you did all types of 80s genres.

This is the soundtrack of a 90s RPG you haven't discovered yet.
Not yet.

Everyone saying they swear hear Earthbound samples when one of the songs is literally named Earthbound.
Yeah i couldn't hear it at first but I can hear some minor earthbound sample like
The Tendas Cave
The Place (The Cave of the Past)
and a really faint "OK Desuka" in the background
P.s. but I'm only talking about the Earthbound track
This is new style games are like inspiration anything so like it like that
@@yatexasnycaflnvnigga what do you mean by new style? Cuz windows96 is definitely his own style, if that’s what you’re saying.
Imagine listening to this with another person that enjoys it and you enjoy your time together with a common interests. Epic. 😎✌️
LSD is needed.
It's sad that things like this that sound so simple are either impossible, or things that just happen once in a lifetime for most people.
I wish haha
Hell yeah
Yes. Like the 150 people scattered across the planet that like stereolab... I being one of them, am quite familiar with this line of thought... 🤔

This ia probably Wind96's best album. God it hits the feels.

Really love this Artist's usage of Earthbound/Mother Samples.

Love it. The depression incorporated within this video reminds me of peaceful nostalgic memories. It's so relaxing, it's like honey for the soul for when one is to weak to get up. It is the glue that binds happiness and peace of mind. It is simply, beautiful.

This album aint even on Windows 96 UA-cam so please ensure this remains up for the rest of my life.
03. A Cry in the Distance 07:04 is amazing, new and unique!
This whole album gives me such intense nostalgic feels.. takes me back to a time of neon-colored everything, bold patterns, shopping malls and the beginning of the internet. Things were better back then.
Isn't the point of vaporwave itself to show that the 80's and 90's were times that thrived souly on consumerism and neoliberal capitalism, and it seeks to critique that? Things weren't better, neoliberalism just hadn't lost it's charm yet.
Your music is so depressing. It hurts very good. Thank you.
nah man, this is the ultimate feel good music

Depressing?
it's melancholic, not depressing.

Thank you for sharing this
Transient Feeling is my favourite from this artist, so absolutely beautiful... and the way it flows into A Cry In The Distance is so smoof, feels like part 1 & 2 of one composition
It reminds me of running down a hallway in high school for some reason ,I love it
It reminds me of Hall and Oates-Maneater stuck in the backrooms

This makes me want to gather a group of close friends and go on adventures at night... So damn wonderful
One of the best synthwave albums ever imo. Actually had me on the verge of tears one time
@hiphiphooray this is more synthwave than it is vaporwave
@@elysian778 what's the difference? Honest question new to this stuff
@@Minmaximus honestly vaporwave is really confusing for me too lol. My guess is that this is considered "vaporwave" because its recognized in the vaporwave scene.
Yep, this can be confusing sometimes xD As you said, we may consider it "vaporwave" because it's how Windows96 is recognized... but we could say that it is more "vaporsynth" as well, since it seems all songs in this album (and even all or almost all of his songs) are original compositions... with some samples, if you want, but not remixed/retuned old songs like sometimes happens on vaporwave
@@ANDREI260690 play this fun game of is this song I like a great original composition or a jazz song from 2013 slowed down by 4%
A new Win96 album! Life is good to me today.
Still to this day one of the absolute best musical pieces I have ever listened too. Nothing can compare to this gold nine.
"Gradual Paths" feels so very Donkey Kong Country. You could slip this into a DKC romhack, and it would fit in real snugly.
F ZERO 2020 Id race to this lol
Well I found my new favorite artist.
Te amo Windows 96, suenas a algo que acá en México, con bajos recursos, soñaba en esos tiempos y sólo lo vivía viendo series gringas, un sonido que me enamora de un tiempo que ya no es.
I love you Windows 96, you sound like something that here, in Mexico, I dreamed of in those days and I only lived it by watching series from U.S.A., a sound that makes me fall in love with a time that not longer exists.

this is the story of an AI being born, maturing, and eventually becoming all powerful
*CHANGE MY MIND*
In the beginning, they had the tech to do what they wanted: change matter, travel the stars, even extend life itself.
But the technology was not the issue, it was at the heart of the quantum universe in which conscious beings had decided to play around with. Probability means nothing when you are trapped between universes.
A world away, broken, fractured, deathly... it exists beyond comprehension. It is the last bastion of the universe's cry to existence, but the beginning of a new omniversal cognizance.
The journeyman, Chraores, takes his first step into the Netherworld, but sees only nothing besides... the supernova of infinite time expanding outwards.
Ever since I saw this comment it’s all I think about when listening to the album and I feel like it really adds to the Experience™️ because it’s so spot on

try it on 1.10x speed! it funks and grooves
Hall & Oates's Maneater & most of their 80s hits comes to mind.
