A couple ideas I had: 1. Making an automatic brewing station similar to the crafter, with copper pipes used to transport liquid into and out of it. 2. Copper pot. I believe copper was the first material ever used to create pots, and making stews and soups in a pot over a campfire makes much more sense then a crafting table. While they're at it, to compensate for making mushroom stew and others slightly harder to obtain, they could make filled bowls stackable and add more soups like chowder (fish + potato + milk).
Idk where to start, maybe with Terry or maybe with the fact that scar is the absolute goat. But let’s list some ideas: Copper lantern: retexture of the classic lantern but crafted with copper. After it oxidises, the colour of light it emits changes. Copper nuggets: just like iron nuggets, you can get nine after uncrafting an ingot. These could be used to craft the grates or some other blocks to make them cheaper. And finally: copper Chests. This could be like a chest, just that you need red stone to open it, similar to the iron door.
I like them. Especially the one about terry. The copper lantern is actually very great for copper usages. I like it and it would fit the game well. The copper nuggets however, are kinda useless since you already get large quantities of copper from a singular ore. The chests with redstone is an interesting one, since this would be the first chest in a long while. I like it though and it would fit well in servers that are more about playing and building than pvp servers New idea: The copper rocket: Locks on your oppentments and insta-kills them while deleting all their items. It breaks every block in the way and has a 99,999% chance after death of the victim to break through their screens and cut their balls off. It can also find you in a radius of 90M blocks, so it's impossible to outrun. :D :D :) :D :D
Cant agree with the lighting rod changing color, I like to think that the reason the rod doesnt get the green patina is because the lightining would blast it off.
The grate and bulb ideas are flawless and need to be added. The door/trapdoor idea sounds really cool, but it would be a bit more challenging with figuring out where they'd actually go when you click them. Into the block above/beside? What if there is no block above/beside?
the example i showed it going into the top, your reason is correct tho, cuz it would look _weird_ if it just stayed floating there. I suppose it should be mandatory for a block to be up there then
Feels a little like self-advertising, but what's been bugging me the most about Copper, is how weird its oxidisation is. Specifically, that you copper basically doesn't oxidise unless you spread it 5 blocks apart. That's honestly really easy to fix and it would make using it so much easier. Why is this self-advertising? Well, I fixed it. The mod's called "Carbonised" and it's on Modrinth
it does make sense in my opinion if there right next to each other, but tbh if they were one block apart, i think if they were just 1 block apart, they should oxidize normally :) (also cool mod)
@@laviOnFire I'm assuming you haven't read the mod description or misunderstand, because that's not how copper oxidises. Copper checks in a 5x5x5 for blocks less oxidised and if so, doesn't oxidise at all. I can only guess, but to me it looks like a very poor attempt of balancing oxidisation levels. (Btw Carbonised also adjusts oxidisation rate based on the block's free faces) PS: Thanks for the compliment
i suppose... tho if i were mojang, i would introduce a new type of door (maybe like the tuff door idk) and let it only open with trial keys. Good idea tho :)
@@laviOnFire the copper door texture has a lock on it it makes sense also it opening vertically doesn’t match the texture at all it’s not a futuristic door it’s a rusty old metal door
@@Lumberjack_king oh yea, just realized that it had a lock lol since the lack of keys you get in the trial chambers, i still perfer the opening up and down but i see your point

1. copper pipes sound sick af, like a way of redstone for fluids
2. pots seem cool aswell, imo these ideas are great

true but you can wax it to prevent it from unoxidizing and it would be still nice to have
@@laviOnFire waxing it would insulate it and then it wouldn't be a lightning rod anymore, would still make a great decoration though.
Another idea: copper wire, it act like red stone but can place on wall and without block support also craft it with red stone give it a longer range
that would be an insane gamechanger, mojang might think that it is too much of a gamechanger
