I remember coming here as a kid with my mom back in the 90s! But the outdoor market used to be on the other side of the building & there used to be a fish&chip stand inside the indoor market! Thats the only reason i would come lol for the chips! 😁
Hello Cold Coffee Icecream, thank you for watching my video. I couldn't stay too long inside the indoor market. The smell of fish mixed with meat marinated in the air was too much to bear 🤧 lool
Nice to see these clips, city centre, Harborne, Erdington, moved to Taiwan with family for work November 2018, expected to come back regularly, then Covid it and that was that, three years this year, missing the place to be honest, didn’t think I would, so a big 👍for these slices of life.
Sorry to hear that. Covid was such a blow, disturbing so many lives... But I am very happy to hear that my videos bring you happiness. Your comment made my day. I hope you'll get to reunited with Brum Brum soon. All the best for you & your family 🙂
@@citiesthroughmyeyes thanks for that nice reply. Will hopefully be getting back for a visit by the end of the year, we have kids doing exams in the next twelve months, but are planning on returning home next June.I will then be able to retrace those steps that you’ve taken!!👍
Oooh I remember the city back in the 70’s there was the market by the church and the rag market which was quite a walk away , by silver blades ice rink . Town was very different back then , I haven’t been for years cos of health reasons which is why this video was so good to watch 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I will likely need your help soon as I am currently working on Birmingham City centre past & present. And I want to make sure that ... I don't mess that up! 😀 Lol. Because they are areas that have changed so so much throughout the years.
The confidence to walk around Birmingham like that steady with the camera is unreal i'm nervous watching because when you concentrate hard enough it feels like i'm there 😆 lol
Hello Topper Shots, to be fair I've learned to FAKE confidence making these videos. I am actually nervous and anxious before I press record. And I kind of warm up while I'm filming. but thank for the compliment 🙂
@@citiesthroughmyeyes never have I watched a video of walking around a city I live in and found it interesting even the music enhances the experience keep up the fantastic work your really good at faking confidence than lol your a great person take care
@@citiesthroughmyeyes Thank you , the quality of the filming is excellent quality , keep up the good work , you are creating a important social document , which is important .
@@akumar7366 Thank you. I was kind of obsessing over buying a proper camera for my videos but since people compliment the quality of my phone camera, I am going to remain loyal to it. Thank you for watching my videos, I really appreciate it 😉
@@citiesthroughmyeyes It might be worth looking on Utube , their are alot of fantastic reviews of the best Vlogging cameras , what ive learnt is no matter how good a Iphone is , it is no comparison to a camera . Obviously no rush to go out and spend £500 to £700 but in the long run defiantly worth considering .
The shouting and yelling from the background is a bit of a fright for the tourists. I suppose this makes for the hard sell character of the Bullring market, and it's the real of Birmingham city 😄😅
