With void, you can actually void items while you're holding them over your head. This works with any item (including shop, devil deal, etc.). This also allows you to get around curse of the blind if you are fast enough. Just wanted to let you know for future reference, keep up the good videos Sin!

Good tip for Void is that if you activate Void in the period of the animation that isaac does when he picks an item you void that item. It works for curse of the blind, shops and devil deals.

a little late, but day 2 of playing along side sin, the first blind item was tooth and nail, which allowed me to get some free curse rooms and small rock from the first tinted rock. blessed penny helped a lot with my health issues, though I dropped it for goat hoof, which I definitely regret since I spent a lot of my time on half a soul heart once I managed to get guppy and played out of my mind it felt like, got crickets head on the chest and another soul heart (finally) to help clutch out the run, great seed! (also since I didnt have void unlocked I started with the deck of cards instead)

you can actually still make a bridge for that tinted rock at 17:00 all you had to do was blow up the first 3 next to the tinted rock then throw a bomb behind the one closet to the bottem door then just walk over its tricky but doable
We saw the new boss in either random run day 10 or the random tainted run day after that
Edit: You said we saw clutch in mines and in ashpit so it doesn't matter wich floor you get/it appears on both but the reason we saw clutch in mines was because the next floor was ashpit and some item effect let you fight against next floors boss. Just letting you know you were wrong.

That was incredible! You gotta love and appreciate these kinds of runs every once in a while, where you just about curbstomp everything. Also, Planetarium payouts!
I will say, however, for people not aware of how Planetarium spawn chance works, that the formula using "unopened Treasure Rooms" stops working past the first Planetarium entered. Once you've opened the first one, it becomes _extremely unlikely_ that you'll encounter another (1% chance). At this point, the only way to improve your chances is through the Telescope Lens trinket, which not only boosts your current chance by 15%, but also allows Planetariums to spawn on Womb levels. I actually don't know if the golden version has a further increase - it seems a lot of the non-stats Golden Trinkets don't do much more than look pretty.
I love every time he manages to call an item from Glitched Crown and then successfully take that item. Very skillfully done~

I truly want you to know I’ve never had any interest in the Isaac series, or anything close. About a year or so ago you began popping up in my feed, and I wondered, what the heck is this. Why are you here. I watched a video, thought to myself, this looks so boring. Then, I checked another video, then another video, and another. Now I still don’t play it, but have thought about getting it. However, I absolutely love watching you play and the commentary and knowledge you give while playing it. You’re doing great. I dont know if they changed it in repentance, but I think if you bomb yourself at the entrance of the cursed room, you will be revived in the next room, that way you can save yourself an extra life. It used to work in afterbirth, I dont know if it does in repentance though
The first timr I got c section was when I was playing tainted Eden I got hit by a tracking brimstone beam from one boss shot one c section shot then got hit again immediately by another of the brim stone attacks while trying to walk up to avoid it
Cracked Crown doesn't work with Genesis, because Genesis removes all your items.
Sin, How exactly do you automatically know where the secret room and super secret rooms are located? Is there a visual clue or just based on the map?
the secret room is always adjacent to something else (shop, item room, cursed room) and the super secret is always on a dead end i.e. not adjacent to anything...also there are some clues on the rooms layout, but that's less relyable
@@pedroquixada398 secret room doesn't have to be connected to a 'special' room, it can also be connected to just regular rooms
Secret room has to have a blank wall on all adjacent rooms, super secret room is only connected to one room. That usually eliminates a lot of potential places, but not always. It‘s a game of guessing really. Also, most rooms adjacent to a secret room have some layout that „points“ to the blank wall. Sinvicta calls these arrows. For example one wall with stones along it and a pot on each end, then one pot in the middle and opposite is the blank wall. The pots form a triangle with one point directed at a blank wall. Not a 100% guarantee but a hint that there might be the secret room. Just check if all other adjacent rooms have a free wall with no objects placed in front and try your luck with a bomb.
After playing long enough you get a good feeling what to look out for
Secret room is next 2 or more rooms with no obstacles against the wall and super Secret room is only connected to one room, I commonly find it near the boss but it's not guarenteed

no it doesn’t it only gives you the same 2 stat ups like 1.0+ damage or 0.50+ tears

day 202 of my comment streak. not gonna lie, when you passes up technology for kidney stone, i was slightly upset since it visually changes the spirit sword into a lightsaber. it would have been more aesthetically pleasing to call it a darth maul build at that point but oh well. loved the run nonetheless. especially when you got glitched crown. i personally love glitched crown bc of all the options it gives you. and its not really that hard to time for me personally. anyway, hope yall have a good rest of your day and i'll see you tomorrow :)
