A rabbi asked Thomas Sowell the same question: "What do Jews have to do to minimize the hostility they face?" Sowell said he gave him a one-word answer: "Fail."
That was a poor answer given. Jews are individuals which are burdened with history thay as a group are known for. Need an example? Individual Jews in influential places are supporters of mass immigration in other countries, but not in Israel. In the US, Jews are like 2% yet on those who started and support more and more immigration, Jews are over represented. There are many such negative areas where Jews are over represented in their activity.
I needed that clarity. My father had to help raise his younger siblings during the depression after his father passed away. He powered through it with not one complaint.
That's not it, it is when Satan convinced people that he is god, aka Allah. In Arabic Allah means god, but Allah according to the Quran has 99 names. Ex Muslims who are now Christian have been able to compare those names with the description of the devil, and there it is, they are identical.

@Jack-t3h Kibbutz communities. Everyone works or goes to school but everyone that lives there pays into it. This makes everything cheaper. The fleet of cars belongs to everyone there, gas to fill them is cheaper, they have their own cafeteria with discounted food and education is also cheaper whether it's grade school or college. Everyone helps each other out financially which contributes to the Jews success but it's basically a socialism culture under a democratic capitalist system. Even people in the larger urban areas contribute to those communities but they redistribute wealth towards each other.
@@Random_240do you have any idea how few “kibbutz communities” are left today? This is an idea from decades ago that has largely fallen out of favor. Financial support and charity yes, like in most western societies, but no communal wealth. You literally don’t know what you are talking about.
@grammarboy1318 I was talking about it historically in context to the video. It's all in the historical findings throughout Jewish history and yes there is such thing as communal wealth. Community wealth is the collective assets that a community owns or controls, and uses to care for itself and its environment. It includes a variety of capital, such as financial, social, intellectual, cultural, natural, built, and political. Community wealth building is an economic development approach that aims to create wealth in communities by: Securing assets: Building and securing assets in communities, and ensuring that ownership is equitably distributed Harnessing local institutions: Using the economic and social power of local institutions, such as universities, colleges, housing associations, and health boards Involving the community: Putting citizens at the center of decision-making processes Some examples of community wealth building include: worker-owned cooperatives, community-owned housing, locally-owned credit unions, and supporting the creation or growth of cooperatively owned businesses. Community wealth building can help to create resilience and local economic security, and to address challenges such as austerity, financialization, and automation. Do your research because it's you that doesn't know what you're talking about and you need to pay attention to detail before you comment.

I like naftali’s comment about Palestinians with names like Al-Masri meaning The Egyptian and Al-Baghdadi meaning The Iraqi. Hisyoricslli Palestinians are a hodge podge of nomads from the entire area many of whom now live in Gaza, while more people in the West Bank came from all over but were better educated, lived in cities and towns. The best educated, business people left this area when countries like Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Egypt wanted to fight with Israel. Israel won these wars!!
It's funny that Naftali Bennett talks about a victim mentality in the context of Afghans, while not realizing that Israel has been playing the victim for decades. I live in Poland, and here's how we Poles perceive Israel: you can't say anything negative about them, you can't even criticize their actions constructively, because they immediately pull out the "we're Holocaust victims, so you can't accuse us or criticize us" card. Naftali Bennett asks what Israel can do to make people more favorable towards Jews? First, stop distorting reality. During World War II, countless Poles risked their lives to help Jews. They hid Jews in their homes, basements, and attics, risking their own lives and the lives of their families. Poles smuggled food under the walls of the Warsaw Ghetto, helped escapees from concentration camps, and what do we get in return? Accusations, lies, and a narrative that it was us Poles who were the enemies of Jews, not the Germans! Do you know how many people lost their lives because they helped Jews? You don't, because Jews have never thanked them and instead hold continuous resentment and grievances about everything. I bet Jordan never thought about or heard of this.
@@Typhaon89 First of all, we have no reason (as Poles) to consider ourselves victims. Currently, Poland is one of the safest countries in Europe. People sit in city squares in restaurants and cafes late at night, walking around without fear of being attacked by illegal immigrants. Secondly, I wrote a few facts about Polish-Jewish relations during the war and how Jews are repaying us now. Someone asked why Israel is so disliked. I presented the answer on a platter, and among other things, it includes behaviors like these. The war is over, Poland has been rebuilt, and we are the complete opposite of a victim. And one more thing... we don't attack anyone and we don't commit war crimes :-) That's all.

There was no any sentence in the first 5 minutes of Naftali Bennett’s speech where there was not a lie. Each of his sentence contained at least one lie or a misrepresentation of the actual facts. Mr. Peterson, why don’t you invite people who can actually tell the other side’s arguments? No need to invite a Palestinian, let’s invite other Jewish people: Norman Finkelstein, Ilan Pappé, etc.
Lies and misrepresentation is 100% of what the anti-Israeli crowd is expert at. People like Finkelstein and Pappe are so brainwashed they focus on a few cherry picked examples while ignoring the big picture. But hey, in Israel, which is a democracy, even extreme minority anti-Israeli voices can speak out. Unlike any other country in the middle east.

The question in title assumes that Israel is one thing. It is not. No country or nation is. There are two aspect to what ‘people’ are against when it comes to 🇮🇱 starting with the ideology race based nation states and racial supremacy (master race or chosen people are interchangeable when one moves from viewing J as a religion to primarily viewing it (wrongly from a genetic perspective) as a race or ethnicity. The ideology which places a race above others means someone else must be less human (untermensch or human animals or amalek) which inevitably leads to practices such as apartheid, ethnic cleansing and in some cases like the holocaust in Germany or Gaza to genocide. Second aspect is partnering with the dominant foreign colonial power and actively participating in the colonial activities with the goal of dominating others primarily for the purpose of enriching oneself. The blueprint for colonial power involves constant fermentation of conflicts, supporting brutal corrupt regimes and generally the exploitation of resources and suppression of any meaningful social, economic or political development. There are also other reasons like the people who are forced to become permanent refugees, families of torture and assignation campaigns etc. Some like the Torah Jews dislike Israel because they believe it is against the religion as God commanded for Israel to be created only after the coming of the Messiah,….
Can you stop your left extremist anti Israel rethoric? It’s the blatant disregard for international law that strikes a cord with me. Especially since it was the west who said doing these things is bad. So what am I to think, it’s bad if somebody else does it, but Israel is exempt? By the way, the eyes of your guest and the eyes of their commanders, there’s something uneasy about them.

"International law"? Lets pretend for a moment that UN has no horse it this race. After the war in 2006 (started by Hez-a FYI), UN published resolution 1701, that in essence would create a buffer zone in South Lebanon. Even sent some soldiers to keep peace. "there’s something uneasy about them" - we're at war since 1948.
These verses from the Bible echo the theme of true worship bringing peace and blessing, while false worship leads to turmoil and hardship. Isaiah 48:22 (NIV): “There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.” Jeremiah 10:21: "The shepherds are senseless and do not inquire of the Lord; so they do not prosper and all their flock is scattered." This verse highlights that when leaders (or people) fail to seek the true God, it leads to ruin and disorder among the people. Isaiah 57:20-21: "But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud. 'There is no peace,' says my God, 'for the wicked.'" This passage shows that those who turn away from God experience restlessness and turmoil, while peace is associated with righteousness and true worship. Deuteronomy 15: "if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you." the curses of disobedience and false worship, describing the harmony or destruction that results accordingly. Romans 1:21-22, 25 : “For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools... They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator-who is forever praised. Amen.”
For myself, I will make an analogy. Imagine you have a nice neighborhood, but nearly all of the property is developed. One guy has a strong attachment to an area that is swampland and wants to develop there. "I deserve I home, I like that area." At first, most people consent, and they're okay. Then the guy swings around and says he needs your shovel to improve the land so he can live there. You get nothing in return. He asks another person in the neighborhood to help clear the wildlife. he gets nothing in return. "Guys, once I develop the swampland, there will be fewer bugs. They will all feast on me, and not you. I am doing you all a favor!" This strikes the neighborhood as odd because the bugs never were an issue before. The construction does start displacing the wildlife, changing the floodplain of the area, all sorts of mishaps. Some of the neighbors start getting upset and a few of them sabotage the build sit for the new home, and they get into a fight. A lot. It is often. This interloper now demands anyone not annoyed with his development project are Required to help him replace equipment, buy him materials,, and if any of his building supplies or tractors damage a neighbor's property, we all must swear to side with the interloper no matter what. All the heads of the households of the neighbor then do so, even the mayor comes by to swear loyalty to this....homeowner. A little backwards. But then the families, wives, children, relatives all come into town for a holiday and notice all of the heads of the household are holding a ceremony to bless the stone foundation walls of the new house. When they say this is odd, the heads of households get angry and aggressive, and start writing checks. When storm damage washes away some of the lumber, and damages the neighborhood, the heads of households tear lumber from their own homes to repair the interloper's construction rather than repair their own homes. In fact the interloper uses some of that to start building tool sheds and car garages in the yards of the few neighbors that were causing trouble over all of this. What I am saying is that the amount of UNCONDITIONAL support The West gives, compared to the benefits are insanely lopsided and we shouldn't be participating. I do not have to pay for someone else to build a country that disappeared thousands of years ago. If they want to go do it, and legally, let them! But my fellow countrymen can't even afford plots of land in their own countries. I don't have the money or time to worry about other people. Clean your own room before worrying about others.
@@einefes good attempt at changing the subject, but as my analogy goes in don't care what was going on before this person moved to my neighborhood and made me deal with all their problems. I don't care, I won't care. If they want to build a house in a swamp, they can. But stop bugging the rest of us
This is a good analogy, it was interesting. Another analogy I like to look at is imagine if people came into your neighbourhood that you and your family have settled in. They say this land used to belong to my ancestor a long time ago because it says so in a book. They then force you and your family off the land and into a dense community. Naturally you will be frustrated, everyone talks about it and some get angry and want justice. So a wall gets built around you, they put turrets on the walls and prevent you from leaving. Will you be annoyed at this and will the old neighbouring communities who witness this be annoyed. What if I told you some of the people who were forced out of their homes still live today. Shall Americas native Indians do this, will it be accepted, somehow I don’t think so.
@@Pangora2 you really don't see the problems with your analogy? The entire basis of it is based on falsehoods. Nobody makes you do anything, nor is the "interloper" (lmao) demanding anything, he just wants to be left alone, but his old "neighbours" (lmao #2) understand that where he lives now has a termite problem and they have good reason to believe that when they're done with him, they'll move to them. So you see, he has nowhere to go but his little swampland, the one his new neighbours decided it was theirs out of the blue with some made up claims and even lied to the police and the court about it

Envy plays a role but not a major one. This is a surprisingly narrow minded explanation. Theres plenty of countries across the world where there one group thats much more successful than another, and while there may be some problems due to that, its nothing like this. Envy is not a good enough explanation for this complicated problem For example: look at 90s south africa Do you think the blacks were just envious of the minority whites that were disproportionately succesful? Maybe But thats not the MAIN point the Main problem for 90s nuclear armed powerful state of south Africa was apartheid (many other problems too perhaps) but that was their ultimate undoing Remember the palestinians are called the worlds most educated refugees. A lot of them have really high level degrees. They are not exactly all sitting around twiddling their thumbs hating on the jews. They actually did preety good with what they were allowed, and believ me, they were not allowed much. Even if you make the case that Hamas is a terror organization that is holding palestinians hostage it still leaves out the point that Hamas, which ran on a platform of reformation, was never even given a chance after winning the election in 2005. They were immidietly blockaded…And also guess who funded Hamas to oppose the more secular (2 state wanting) Abbas…? You guessed it- Netanyahu- im sorry but the ‘envy’ explanation is awfully simple and does not capture rhe depth of the situation i dont think You cant just rely on one biblical story in this situation as a reference. You might need to create an entire bible with a new prophet for this unique problem😂

well the problem is if you want to form a jewish state it might be justified for certain reasons but if that state isn't just in their right to protect itself and doesn't treat it's neighbours fairly then it's questionable a state, a country means law, order and simply righteousness when these qualities are hard to find then that state has no right to exist.
Were the Israelis treated fairly by the Arab nations? It wasn’t the Palestinians idea to start a war, that blame lies solely with the Arab nations. It was also the Arab nations who displaced 160,000 Palestinians, when they asked them to move while surrounding the Israelis. Unfortunately they lost lol, so they left the Palestinians in the shit.

How is that help you in life?

Community wealth building is an economic development approach that aims to create wealth in communities by:
Securing assets: Building and securing assets in communities, and ensuring that ownership is equitably distributed
Harnessing local institutions: Using the economic and social power of local institutions, such as universities, colleges, housing associations, and health boards
Involving the community: Putting citizens at the center of decision-making processes
Some examples of community wealth building include: worker-owned cooperatives, community-owned housing, locally-owned credit unions, and supporting the creation or growth of cooperatively owned businesses.
Community wealth building can help to create resilience and local economic security, and to address challenges such as austerity, financialization, and automation.
Do your research because it's you that doesn't know what you're talking about and you need to pay attention to detail before you comment.

These verses from the Bible echo the theme of true worship bringing peace and blessing, while false worship leads to turmoil and hardship.
Isaiah 48:22 (NIV):
“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”
Jeremiah 10:21:
"The shepherds are senseless and do not inquire of the Lord; so they do not prosper and all their flock is scattered."
This verse highlights that when leaders (or people) fail to seek the true God, it leads to ruin and disorder among the people.
Isaiah 57:20-21:
"But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud. 'There is no peace,' says my God, 'for the wicked.'"
This passage shows that those who turn away from God experience restlessness and turmoil, while peace is associated with righteousness and true worship.
Deuteronomy 15:
"if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you."
the curses of disobedience and false worship, describing the harmony or destruction that results accordingly.
Romans 1:21-22, 25 :
“For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
I am doing you all a favor!"
This strikes the neighborhood as odd because the bugs never were an issue before.
Yes, nobody blamed the jews nor did anything to them prior to 1948,right..
@einefes And the Jews have never done anythint wrong to anybody... right.
So you see, he has nowhere to go but his little swampland, the one his new neighbours decided it was theirs out of the blue with some made up claims and even lied to the police and the court about it
No we are not against israel, we are with israel.
Most of the world isn't
Israel, Turkey and Russia armed and backed up Azerbaijan and ISIS against Armenia (an absolutely neutral, Christian country).
Dr. Peterson, where is you coverage on Armenia with which you share your roots?
The masks will soon fall
How did Russia backed up Azerbeijan? Armenia is not neutral it has pro European government with EU NGO in the country.
Shhhh
He's a kosher fluffer
The claim is absolutely misleading. Israel and Turkey both supported Azerbaijan, but ISIS wasn't involved.
whatever God loves.....Satan hates.
… and envies that he does not have
I would make the reasoned argument that God no longer has any particular love for the Jewish state. Jews didn't see much divine protection or uplift during the holocaust.
Yeah, that’s why God hates this fake imitation Israel, ruled by jews (disciples of satan).
Very hard to change victim mentality Mindset 😢😢😢 God bless Israel
Because the Pali leadership for 70 years spent time and money on war not building a viable country.
Kleptocrats & now also jihadists
The Islamic republic regime is not representative of the Iranian people, the Iranian people at large support Israel. Love from Iran !
In 1910 Ahad Ha'am about Europns mving to Pales "They treat Arabs with hostility and cruelty deprive them of their rights..offend them without cause boast of these deeds; and nobody among us opposes this despicable and dangerous inclination ..."
Thank you ❤

They have right to secure their promised land; the Jews people are fighting for hundreds of years for existence ❤ 🇮🇱
Let’s stop pretending that Israel has always been the homeland of the Jews. There were people there before the jews in the vast majority of Jews left long ago. This would be like the gypsies but apparently originated in India calling India their homeland. In 1900 only 5% of the population is Jewish.
Every artifact in Israel is of Jewish history..
@59Gretsch look @ a map of israel today! the cities have names like 'ab' before them or 'el' which are very arab sounding . . .

Interesting... how whenever there is a video about the radicle Islamic, the comment section goes wild
it's more like, there are two sides and both are to blame. We get annoyed when people act as if it is only one side or the other that is at fault
Comments from other side are either deleted or not shown. Thats why you see one side
With all respect for both of you
Please don’t use the word Iranian , it conveys wrong idea about Iranian people .
Please say Iranian rulers .
There’s us huge huge differences between Iranian people and the rulers of Iran

Agreed, Albo and Wong are a disgrace.

Disproportionately successful happened to Jews in Germany as well.
But this time, the jews are prepared to fight back against being punished for being succesful.
Then why are people not trying to do the same to Asian immigrants? Why is it this one group always being chased out of places?
As a brazilian, I stand with Israel 🇧🇷❤🇮🇱
Envy plays a role but not a major one. This is a surprisingly narrow minded explanation.
Theres plenty of countries across the world where there one group thats much more successful than another, and while there may be some problems due to that, its nothing like this. Envy is not a good enough explanation for this complicated problem
For example: look at 90s south africa
Do you think the blacks were just envious of the minority whites that were disproportionately succesful?
Maybe
But thats not the MAIN point
the Main problem for 90s nuclear armed powerful state of south Africa was apartheid (many other problems too perhaps) but that was their ultimate undoing
Remember the palestinians are called the worlds most educated refugees.
You guessed it- Netanyahu-
im sorry but the ‘envy’ explanation is awfully simple and does not capture rhe depth of the situation
i dont think You cant just rely on one biblical story in this situation as a reference. You might need to create an entire bible with a new prophet for this unique problem😂
please dont give them any ideas at the end there... knowing todays Climate, I wouldn't be surprised if the elite j man in hollywood and porn would do that.
God bless Israel
Wesrtern country's thinking they know everything about Islam and radicals, but the fact is they don't know anything ..! 😂😂
People disagree with Israel because of Envy ? Hahaha I didn't expect this from Peterson, actually I did.
Hey Jordan did they pay you in shekels or dollars?
well the problem is if you want to form a jewish state it might be justified for certain reasons but if that state isn't just in their right to protect itself and doesn't treat it's neighbours fairly then it's questionable a state, a country means law, order and simply righteousness when these qualities are hard to find then that state has no right to exist.
