- Louisiana Boiled Turkey Necks
Spicy, tender, and full of flavorful! Louisianans love a good boil! Try this recipe and you’ll see why!
4-5 lbs turkey necks
2 bell peppers (roughly chopped)
1 large onion (roughly chopped)
1 whole celery stalk (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (peeled)
1 cup shrimp and crab boil dry seasoning
1/4 cup chicken bouillon powder
1-2 TBS liquid crab boil concentrate (omit for milder taste)
6 cups water
2 lemons for washing
1-2 tsp accent seasoning (yes, it’s MSG, so it’s *OPTIONAL. Don’t start crying to me about it. I don’t have time.)
**corn and potatoes

Omg. I love Louisiana turkey necks. I will not eat them any other way. I also eat them when I cook a seafood broil and people think it's so weird lol. Everytime I went to Cajuns when I was younger I would 2lbs of turkey necks with my corn, potatoes, sausage and crawfish with a pineapple big shot.
This my family and co - workers favorite recipe. They always want my to cook Cajun Style Turkey Necks. Try them in the pressure cook or insta pot. Considerably less cooking time and so tender meats literally falls off the bone !!! Glad you posted this. Yumm Yummm
I’m from the South and I love turkey necks prepared exactly like this.
I cooked this last week and added shrimp at the end and it was the best meal ever. I’m cooking it again on Sunday.
