Still one of the most comprehensive, overall fair and well designed and actually engaging train fight sequences I've played in a video game to this date!
This sequence is an absolutely sublime work of art. I’ve played uncharted 1-4 and just finished 2 again (remastered) after first playing it 10 years ago. I was in awe of this bit. In some ways I think Uncharted 2 is more fun and enjoyable than 4.
Looks cool however makes absolutely no sense... The car just decided to accelerate, do some barel rolls and then launch itself into the air despite being unattached. But yeah still looks cool
I'll definitely be getting the Nathan Drake collection for PS4 when it comes out. Never played any of the Uncharted games before, heard great things about them though and from the looks of this it'll definitely be a great investment. Then the fourth game comes early next year right?.

Honestly an action game is only good if it has either an epic train battle or a plane/plane crash mission. That’s why uncharted is my favorite game series
I used to be good at knowing where to go throughout game, when it was on the PS3, but now it's been so long since I've played it that I couldn't even figure out where to go on the demo lol
My one complaint for this game is that Sony didn't touch it up as well as they could have. Gears of war UE was redone pretty much. And this game is deserving of such treatment. Uncharted 2 is one of my favorite games but it doesn't hold anymore. Graphically speaking.

Am I the only one that finds it weird you go from Nepal, to a dense jungle, then back to a snowy mountain really quickly? Seemed weird but a cool sequence on the train
I have never actually played this game, but just from watching the millions of gameplay videos, I can tell immediately it's from the makers of Crash Bandicoot (2:55 for example). Too bad Universal fucked them over. I would have loved to see Naughty Dog bring Crash to the PS2, PS3 and now PS4.
hey guys I'm a middle aged guy that's just got into gaming and am really loving these uncharted games I'm struggling with finding my fave pistols and larger guns to chose when available. Do you guys have faves that you stick with wherever possible or is it a case of grabbing what you can. I'm sorry if this sounds a simple question but I really am a gaming novice I'm 55 and just treated my self to my first ever console of any kind a ps4.Thanks in advance
+Pete Evans You don't need to worry too much about the guns you pick up. All the guns are pretty reliable for the most part so you can just charge through with whatever you have lol
Drax the Destroyer I got the Nathan drake collection after playing uncharted 4 and damn drakes fortune was terrible with hordes of enemies appearing every 2 seconds so I couldn’t even finish it due to how boring it was but uncharted 2 and 3 are WAYY better
@@voidninjaxz6731 I agree, also. The enemies were literally so cliche and repetitive. Just the same people all over again. And there was not enough plot or characters. And not a lot of cutscenes. We only had like 3 characters and the villains are barely in the game. I liked Uncharted 1 at first. I didn't think it would get better. But then I played 2. And woah, holy shit. It blew 1 out of the water. 2 improved the series massively. It improved on a lot of minor things that I hated on Uncharted 1. And the enemies aren't cliche or repetitive like in Uncharted 1 where they come with literally no warning or anything. You just walk into a doorway and there they come. It's funny how they're just automatically in cover and they always know where I am. In Uncharted 2 and the rest, they actually make sense. They come at the right time and there's variety. Uncharted 1 isn't necessarily a bad game. I still like it. It just isn't good compared to the other ones. But you said you didn't finish the game. Did you atleast get to a *_certain plot twist?_* It gets interesting there. I think you should finish. Just play on easy and get through the enemies.

+GothicFATTY My gamplay was much much worse then his! Mabey because i did not know what i was doing half of the time. Example: the first helacopter segment at the train. At one point, there is that door and i had to open it, but it will kill me! I was like "what does the game want from me?!" And then i found out that you shoot the helacopter with a RPG. How was i soposed to know that?! What's worse is the really bad checkpoint placement.
Game looks great, don't hate me, but it sort of feels more cartoonish than before. I don't like that aspect of it. I can't wait to get my hands on this however. Most likely winter for me.
+DJSwizz15 If you play Uncharted, then play Uncharted 3 FIRST because it basically gives the characters history, developement and much more detail, and introduces everybody and you actually know who they are, how they met and what's going on then. It starts from Drake's childhood and shows how he grew up, what he became and who he was originally. It is basically the start of everything, and unless you play 3 the other games are a complete waste of your time because there'll be no story and it'll just get very confusing; they were actually quite tedious for me to play and I never bothered finishing them. I hope to do that soon, although tbh I'll be doing it for the trophies and the storyline. (Although I don't think there is much, which I think is where the originals fell flat on their arse, which is a shame.) They should have made number 3 first, because when I tried game 1, I thought the UC was the most overrated, boring, male-Tomb-Raider copycat bullshit until I played 3. It still is quite overrated, but 3 makes it so much better. The controls are better and much less clunky, there's much better gameplay and stuff actually happens. Can't speak for Mad Max as I've never played it. But buy the GOTY UC3 version, don't even bother with the original release. If you're going to play 3, enjoy what should have been released originally and not what was released later for profit. According to CEX, the GOTY version is cheaper anyway.
Kinda sad we didn't get a sequence as awesome as this in uncharted 4. As far as set pieces go, uncharted 2 and 3 were really good but uncharted 4 was a bit lacking. Uncharted 2 had the hotel scene, the train scene. Uncharted 4 had the horse riding to truck, plane scene,cruise ship scene, uncharted 4 felt like a better told story and gameplay but lacked imagination. Tried to be too much like a movie I guess

The whole helicopter fight scene at 14:00 is one of the coolest moments I've seen in a video game.

Mission Impossible took inspiration from this entire sequence. Even some of the shots where Ethan is hanging is literally from the game

Close combat is always stronger than guns in all games and most of the time guns are usefull only in cutscenes :D

Wym? Uncharted 4 had the convoy chase and collapsing tower. Not as cool as 3 and 2's but it was still awesome
it looks so weird at 60fps; i hope the added the option to lower the fps to 30. i only like FPS games at 60fps and fast paste games 60fps.
