The cities that govern these beaches aren't doing enough, better signs need to be posted Fines need to be put to the limit !! Very little to nothing is being done ! I know it's tough to catch someone in the act but I would think twice before littering our beaches if I might go to jail !! That's what you litter bugs deserve !!!!! BTW I really enjoy your videos !! Thanks again from Kevin in France and Florida
Im going medal detecting today as soon as i get off helping my wife wworking this evening...its about time for me to find another ring i hit a long dry spell...
I haven't had anyone say anything about me detecting in Galveston. The Ranger at the state park was quick to tell me I couldn't there. He said it was because of a civil war ship wreck off the coast and archeological items washing up on the beach. My research says it was carrying coal. Blocks of coal have been found at Sea Rim state park. A metal detector wouldn't have found that anyway.
The worst day metal detecting the beach is still better than the best day at work……….. I think
It's true, it's true.
Right!
This is what metal detecting Galveston (Texas) beaches is like. I have yet to find more than coins and beverage trash is everywhere.
Good job on the video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Good job
I gotta rock...reminds me of Charlie Brown
Okay????

Looks like I need to teach you how to set up the D2 for the beach 😂
But I don’t have a D2.
@@Metal-Detecting-Texas ah so that's why you were digging so many bottle caps, that makes a lot more sense!
Not at all, I just like diggin them.
Gonna go dig some more Thursday.
@@Metal-Detecting-Texas I still work 🤣 but I'll be digging somewhere north on Saturday.
Work is a four letter word, carry your rain slicker.
It could have been worse! Subbed ya!

It happens from time to time. Good luck and go find that ring.
Does Galveston have rules for metal detecting the beaches?
Stay out of the state park it’s off limits fill in your holes and dispose of the trash you dig up.

Do you need a permit to metal detect on Galveston or Padre island public beaches?
Galveston no permits needed, stay out of the county and state parks in Galveston County. Padre island I know nothing about.
@@Metal-Detecting-Texas , thanks very much.
