Naomi, one of the finest ladies in Country Music History. Wynonna Judd has one of the best voices in History. The two together were a powerhouse of vocal perfection which complimented each other perfectly.
*Ashley and Wynonna, thank you for sharing your mom with the world. Her laughter, smile and love are now etched forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Deepest Condolences to you and the family.*
*Country Music will always have this as an example of musical perfection. Rest in Comfort Naomi, you will be sorely missed.*
I so agree! Wynonna please, please keep up your singing, sharing and loving your audience as we love you both forever. While we will still be able to see you and your incredible talent alone on stage as recently, we will ALWAYS see you and your mom together.❤❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤗🤗🤗
Totally
My prayers for you and your family. Just remember that you can talk to your mom anytime she is listening and watching over you.

*This was country music to its very core, no bad words, humble, all American. RIP, I’m so glad I grew up in the late 80s and 90.* 🙏🥰
I'm so thankful to God I and family saw them on this tour. But I'm saddened to the core that I didn't go the Wynonna's show here in Pigeon Forge, TN April 22. My heart is broken for the loss to all of us of Precious Naomi. But so much more so for her so talented daughters, her husband and all of her family. God please please please take the pain out of their hearts, and lift them into your High Spirit as they go forward in these days shear Darkness.
Yeppers I surely say to
Just turn on my tablet found out
I grew up in the 60,70,80,90,and now in my later years I know what judds had to say in. That secret I feeling her right now in. The road trip I know what she means about that
AMEN & Well said, Albatross! I am 68, here in 2022, so I have this perspective of a fairly long back view, which kind of amazes me! I missed a lot back then, such as when Naomi & Wynona did this Farewell Concert! One can only focus on so much; so, I'm therefore mighty Thankful that we can all enjoy watching and rewatching treasures out of the archives of American Country Music in all it's flavors. These ladies represent the very Best, and are so unique 🤗🎵🎶💞 I send love & prayers to Wynona, Ashley, Naomi's husband & the rest of the Judd family in this solemn time of loss & heartache 🙏🤗💖
Today Heaven gained an angel with the voice to compliment the Lords choir. Her daughters, family, and fans will mourn her loss. But Naomi is free of depression and the imprisoned feelings that brings. Rest peacefully Naomi. May the outpouring of love and prayers for your family be of comfort today and time to come. We will always love you.
Another beautiful Kentucky Hill woman becomes an angel
We Love You Naomi! Thank You for sharing your beautiful voice! My heart is sadden My Deepest Condolences and Prayers to All
I just pray to God she didn't die from her own hand!!😔
This was not the place or time for your uncalled for comment. RIP Sweet Naomi you gained your wings and heaven gained another angel
a sad day indeed
I was at this concert, and it was the grandest night I ever experienced. The Judds were magnificent and beautiful. I can’t watch them without tears; Naomi was sweet, soft yet so feisty. Prayers to Wy and her family. Heaven has gained a beautiful Guardian Angel to watch over us all. I hope Naomi has found the peace she longed for all these years. The Judds will always be in my heart.
Ah, HARMONY, must be something from Heaven, that singers just "tap in to?" to be closer to the Lord in the ethers, yes ? THEIR HARMONIES.
Back in the late 80's I was offered a position to "Open " for the Judds by the Marion County , Activities Department, I think they called it, for their county fair committee of some sort, in Ocala, Florida-based upon a cassette tape I'd sent in with an original song on it.
That year my " Who's Sorry Now" won sort of a contest in Ocala, too..but with all of that summer humidity, I could hardly wait to get back to Sunny, Dry California, I didn't stay for the performance! (And I think contests are pretty stupid btw!)

@@richardlimpoco3108 they weren't then. They didn't have money when they received Public Assistance. Naomi was a single mom putting herself through nursing school while raising 2 daughters and working. Not an easy task. Before you judge try walking a mile in their shoes. I am a single mom and raised my daughter, fought long n hard to keep her safe, worked and put myself through college. It's not easy!
She is flying free now singing in the Heavenly Choir!
Carol you were blessed to have experienced this live . Man!!, I would have loved to be here. I can’t stop watching it . My daughter had me to sign a contract to only watch 3 times a day 😀. I’ve always loved these two . I never have to know someone to hurt when they leave . I feel the pain . Praying for the Judd family and Larry 😭❤️🙏🙏🙏
Wynonna's voice, INCReDIBLE!!
I know. So dynamic and rich to say the least
The girl has got her some pipes, reminds me of Patsy.
Agree and Naomi's Beauty is like Marilyn Monroe** ... surrealism
Especially despite lingering effects of laryngitis.
For real! She is a powerhouse. So unique and beautiful!
Our country girl is now free. 💔🕊️ Rest in Peace Naomi Judd.
I miss The Judds, they were so entertaining to watch and I just love to listen to the music...Rest in Peace Naomi ❤️
I saw the one of the last performances in Colorado with Randy Travis opening for them. An honor I will never forget. I was walking by the stage during g a break and one of their crew tripped and fell on me carrying drinks . I was soaked from head to toe. I looked up to see these ladies watching. I heard Naomi say oh no we need to help her out. They took me under the stage and found me dry clothes. They let me keep the shirt that said road crew and signed it. A beautiful and wonderful gift that hangs on my wall. Thank you for the music. RIP Miss Naomi Judd
Wow what an amazing memory!
Sweet! That was nice of em' for sure.
RIP Naomi Judd, you're greatly missed
Beautiful story. God bless
What a beautiful tribute for Naomi Judd. Rest in peace beautiful lady. ❤
Much love and many prayers to Wynonna and her family. Rest in Heaven Naomi.
Thank you for the beautiful music and memories. 😪💔🙏🏻

The looks on certain faces I saw gave me the impression something wasn't right
Hello Teresa how are you doing today?
The wheels keep turning to see my baby
I met my wife of 38 years when she was singing "Mama He's Crazy". That song has always had a very special place in my heart. RIP Naomi! :-(
A pair of beautiful voices and women. My heart and prayers go out to Wynonna and all of her family for the loss of her mom today. To all of us she was a star and beautiful voice, but most of all she was a mom which is greater than anything else. I recently lost mine and know how much sorrow it brings. Heaven gained yet another angel today. God bless everyone.
Well, said. I lost my mama in 1995! Then, every mama who died since reproduced the same pain only double: once for them and once for me.
I use to sing with my mom when she'd play the piano or accordion and MY daughter and I have sung together; it is an absolute JOY! I cried the FIRST time I watched this and NOW It's just that much worse.
She’s awesome still as if she lives here with us. God receives her soul a great woman with a marvelous voice. Oh heavens receive her. Be consoled Ashely and every other family member that your mom Rest In Peace now from all troubles, sorrows of this world. We love you all and be comforted with the word of God Amen.
Are you kidding me, please show me where this woman sings -she does not sing in any of these performances, so how do you know she has a beautiful voice ? my guess is she can’t sing and she has stood in the shadow of her daughter all these years.
@@MrTjcomedy I really think the mom just wanted her daughter out there to be notice in the country music . 😊
Yes she can sing. Harmony. Is what they started with. Show some respect .can you do better? ?.
You can't give enough praise to Mrs Judd. She set out to do something and she did. Her goal was to pursue her dream and take care of her family. And that she did,and did big time. All praises to her and the family.
Thanks
I never really got to see them in person but dam it I sure wore out that cassette tape...Were going to miss you Naomi Judd...
R.i.P Naomi Judd 2022
R.i.P Naomi
Amen! She did a wonderful job of making such inspirational country music and showing the world people ❤ can be kind after they make it big! I'm so sorry Mrs. Judd had those issues and took her life it's sad mental health isn't taken more seriously in our world today!! Wynonna should come out with out with a tribute album with all proceeds going to mental health research!!

Wynonna and Naomi Judd had the sweetest female country voices i have ever heard.
Rest in Peace Ms. Naomi and thank you for sharing your love for country music and your family with us fans!
Holy cow, 2022, 31 years later and they still are THE BEST...
And Naomi was still so gorgeous, at 76. Great actress, too, like in movie Song of the Season, which she wrote an amazing song for. She and Allison Pill did it as a duet; so beautiful. "River of Time".
It was a hard journey getting to where they did, but Naomi got them there and chose the most important things to do for their needs and growth with extremely limited funds. You can go though austere years like sleeping 3 to a bed, no TV, not even garbage pickup (they'd take it to town), do laundry in the sink, and come out not only OK, but stronger for it. Both girls grew to be talented and successful. But Naomi is the one I will always admire so much. So pretty, such a great sense of humor and whimsy, and so talented with people and her art.
@@victoriakirchner4371 I agree. She must have been struggling greatly... RIP, Naomi 🧡🧡
Wynona was and still is THE BEST FEMALE VOICE ANYWHERE!! I never heard Naomi...ever!!!
@@carolynmalone9871 - I did...., and I am thankful I did.
@@carolynmalone9871 Naomi, the mother hen, wrote many of their songs. She sang harmony and their two voices were amazing together. Naomi had a smooth, slightly deeper voice, and always wanted her Wynonna's voice to be heard the most. Part of the time in each song she remained silent and just proudly smiled at her daughter. The harmony was so special.
When she was retiring from the duo and not touring any more, Wynonna was worried about going it alone, but she didn't need to worry; she was brimming with talent.
Naomi was the front person, working the audience with her happiness and talent. She was also a great actress who was fun to watch. My favorite is "Song for the Season", a Hallmark Chrustmas movie with Abdy Griffith, Gerald Rainey, and Allison Pill, an amazing young singer she did a duet with, of a song Naomi had written. She played a HS music teacher. The little white dog at her movie "home" was actually one of her own.
Her other daughter, Ashley, is a very talented actress, and has done a lot of great movies. A Time to Kill and Double Jeopardy with Tommy Lee Jones, were two big hits she was in.
Very talented family that had a hard life for a long time.
RIP Naomi. Thank you for the beautiful music and your beautiful soul. The angels have another sweet and gentle singer in the choir.

Hello Martie how are you doing today?
If I had had a chance, this duo would have been a concert I would NOT have missed.
I saw this tour at the Oil Palace in Tyler, Texas. I was 15, and absolutely loved The Judds. It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. The dynamic duo really rocked the stage. The sad news of Naomi’s passing brought me here to relive that memory.

Just as Jesus' dear friend Lazarus was asleep in the grave before Jesus' called his name and raised him back to life, so it is with Naomi -- she is asleep in the grave where she will remain until the resurrection. Eccl. 9:5-6 reminds us:
"For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any _thing_ that is done under the sun."
Also, Psalm 115:17 says, "The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence."
In Gen. 3:19, God spoke plainly to Adam and Eve, and told them: "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou _art,_ and unto dust shalt thou return".

This concert and all the songs they sang brought back so many memories of my single days. I was a devoted single mom raising my 10 year old son, my now 40 year old son. Oh I missed them so much!! The mother and daughter. The most amazing singers to date.
Hello Anne how are you doing today?
RIP Naomi! You will definitely will be missed! Absolutely love this duo!
I had the wonderful opportunity to have met Naomi and Wynonna on more then a few occasions, the type of work I was involved with allowed it in addition to many other public figures. The Judds were very pleasant, accepting, warm, easy to speak with, after all people in public eye are human just like us, difference is their job entails performing, more well known due to the nature of the job. The performance permits to take us away but if just for a moment in time to another world of forgetting our troubles, it does the same for the performer as well. Music is an exchange of energy of emotions between artist and audience, a slice of heaven where everything in the outside world is forgotten, a moment of blissful opportunity for us to be in touch with our feelings, sometimes the song touches a spot where we release tears, there's a fraction of healing in music and community of gathering. Music is emotions applied to lyrics, tones and melody, it's birthed out of emotions. Everything we do and create is birthed out of emotions.
My greatest hopes is we never forget, we don't ever have amnesia from what she struggled immensely with like millions of people do. The stigma of mental health has to be stopped. The brain can become unwell just like any other organ in our body. When a person is born with a heart defect, their lifestyle has to be different then a person born with a healthy heart, if not their life expectancy is shorter. If a persons family has chronic mental health in their gene pool, if they're exposed to traumatic events or succumb to trauma, likelihood of triggering setting off imbalance of chemicals in the brain and effecting central nervous system is high, sometimes it can never rebalance, even through extensive treatments, they're resistant to treatment.
Just as with a family with inheritance of diabetes, a family member can carry the gene however if they live a healthy lifestyle, odds are greater in their favor for gene not triggering.
If we knew a person had diabetes, we're not going to oblige in asking them if they want a piece of cake, we'd know it's harmful. If we evolve to a place where we can speak openly about mental health, we can arrive to a place a person can freely mention they have temporary or chronic struggles therefore it will change the approach in how we speak to them. If the cake would effect the diabetic, the nature of words we use and our tone would be accommodating to the person struggling with mental health. The word mental is a variation of the mind, it does not mean crazy, health is to do with condition. There's physical and mental health.
What would happen if a person felt shameful sharing with anyone they had a broken bone, they felt so utterly shameful they kept it a secret, because of the shame they didn't want to visit a doctor? It goes untreated, means no healing. In able to freely share, they'll get advice from a family member, friend or even a stranger. They'll be concerned about how it happened, how much pain they're in, and advise to go to the ER or doctors. By not having "shame", they're freely able to share, therefore able to have support and treatment from a doctor. Family and friends will offer support to help with necessities if they're immobilized. As long as there's "shame"/a stigma around mental health, it means a person doesn't share the thoughts they struggle with, don't express their feelings, they either hide as much as they can, either behind a smile or behind closed doors, which follows not seeing a mental health doctor, equals no treatment, which could manifest into decline.
Addictions which is self medicating to numb and escape feeling certain emotions, is from burying trauma, in addition trying to cope with life stressors, "not in all cases", sometimes it's rooted in people that have a very sensitive disposition, they're sensitive to energy, they feel extremely deeply, it's the nature of whom they are. There's some coping tools they can adopt to help navigate in the unfortunate reality that our species can be harsh, but their personality won't alter, it's part of their gene pool. We wouldn't want to try and strip someone of who they are, it's like breaking into a persons house and stealing.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with being sensitive, as far as feeling deeply goes, there is a problem if our sensitivity is projected in a way it inflicts harm upon another person. Feeling deep in this world, having sensitivity is perceived as a weakness for most part, because our species is still operating from the survivalist mode, the mentality of the strong survive, survivalist perception is "strength" (most popular and powerful, wealth, status, most awards, most intelligent, talented, most attractive, biggest house, etc....), we were raised more on how to survive rather then raised on how to love. We've been living on a stage for generations performing, scared to show reality of ourselves, out of fear survival. We're overly competitive against each other due to fear for survival. Until we evolve into freely accepting our "humnaness" completely = able to discuss our burdens, trauma, our struggles, our shadow side/our flaws, our insecurities birthed from wounds, etc...., we'll not be able to heal collectively, therefore not evolve. Healing is done when we share, when we heal or at least manage the wounds our wounds will not project onto others, if they do bleed, at least we'll have the tools to resolve issues or reconcile. I understand fully it's frightening sharing the most intricate and delicate parts of ourselves within a species that perceives sharing the most human aspects of ourselves as weak, fear being taken advantage of, or looked at strangely, fear of rejection or abandoned from family, friends or society, but if want a healthier and loving species we'll have to. Our forefathers and mothers took leaps of faith and big risks before us to get us where we are today, we're here because of them, and one day future generations we'll be thanking us for taking risks. I'm not implying for us just to share with anyone, we must not do anything we feel will put us in harm's way, it be mental or physical, and also certainly must not do it if we're not ready, but if ever ready and safe to do so would be wonderful, if not ever ready it's ok too, doesn't mean weakness whatsoever, it's a personal right and choice, there's reasons known to person they don't feel comfortable doing so.
❤As Mrs. Naomi Judd stated in lyrics : "Love can build a bridge, between your heart and mine, love can build a bridge, don't you think it's time, don't you think it's time"
YES IT'S TIME ❤🌉❤
I thank Mrs. Naomi for all that she's contributed to the world. I'm so incredibly sorry for her years of struggling the internal fight.
Where there's love, we will survive. The old survivalist mode needs to be said goodbye to. When there's love it opens the door to our humnaness. It will provide to us the experience and emotions just like we do when surrounded together before the music.
My deepest love and condolences to Wynonna and Ashley, their family and friends. My heart breaks for her daughters and grandchildren. They'll be in my thoughts and well wishes of comfort. ❤

I remember watching this the night it aired. I was so heartbroken Naomi had to quit. They were my favorite and I adored them. They were such a huge part of my childhood. Now I am watching it again today, to say goodbye again to the very talented and much loved Naomi. She is going to be very missed. 😭💔
Wynonna and. Naomi you are the best
Miss Naomi is up in heaven floating on a cloud watching her family and fans with great love and affection !
Wyonna Judd has one of the most beautiful singing voices on earth, rich and resonate, keep singing country song bird!
Who’s still enjoying these GOATs in 2021🤙🏽❤️ Love & Aloha from Hawaii !
those goats can sing pretty well, maaaan....
I love them!
RIP Naomi. May God comfort your family at this time. I enjoyed your music my whole young life. I have gotten standing ovations singing the grandpa song and have mercy. I have been dealing with chronic depression since I was a teen. I almost ran away with the guy I dated in high school to get married. Looking back I would probably be in jail because we weren’t compatible. There have been times I wanted to end my life. Came close a couple of times . Y’all are the best group ever.
Well, back in 2019 for my Judds fix.... Still the best female duo - EVER. "Love Can Build a Bridge" still brings tears to me eyes. When this farewell concert happened, my two sisters, brother, and mother were all still alive... Now, they are all gone, and so much more has happened since 1991. I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and change a few things... So grateful that this was loaded onto UA-cam...
Amen.
@@lindaeubanks5586 you
These are the two iconic singers we ever had. The JUDD SINGERS forever. No one can take their place. Their songs can relieve our loneliness. Music is the best medicine and reliever to our loneliness.
They have the beauty and talent, they are blessed ! ! !

I was there rocker ,but became a Country lover. Thanks ladies. Prettiest ladies I ever seen
I still remember Naomi Judd telling Joey and Rory Feek to never change who they are. They brought Naomi to tears because of their awesome singing and their relationship with each other..
They are great ...so charismatic and lyrics are terrific....very heartwarming...and really Swing
Such a fantastic show and act they developed. Winners all the way. Wished it could last for many more decades.
How can anyone hit the dislike button on something as beautiful as a mother and daughter putting on a show and making great music together, it warms my heart to see this.. people are flat out ugly sometimes
That's if they don't like good country music!
30 years later the music is still great
I just realized this is what country used to be like.
I love them both they sure can sing my favorite is Grandpa
Good bye, Sweet Naomi ... rest peacefully safe in the arms of Jesus. You will always be remembered and "loved" by all who had the pleasure to hear you and Wynonna sing.
RIP Naomi Judd. Thank you for bringing my childhood lovely memories.
That must have been a great concert. Thanks for sharing. They rocked it country style.
Naomi had a great sense of humor and and understanding. She had the most beautiful and loving heart ❤️
wow....when the people were singing those lines grandpa tell me about the good ol' days.....if I was Wynona....I'd have tears flowing & fighting to get my lines out. To have ppl sing to you your songs.....that's Gold....there not higher level of praise admiration. I loved when they entered into the radio I was in my 20's...building refineries....First Woman to be a Roustabout Foreman in the History of American Oil Fields....I went into Medicine in the late 80's & hold a Medical Record & met My Soul Mate whom we danced to the Judds every chance we got. Love Them....Miss Them....more so....Always Bless Them. John Doe...Bless You for making this video of their last performance available for not only those of us who were there w/them when they entered & when they left to go back thru it all in my memories....but also that the younger generations can discover them & discover real music...you can't get any more real than this kind of Country Music...!! *wiping tears to the sides*
WHAT A COOL STORY
Hello Kathryn..
They were THE BEST mom- daughter duo ever! So much talent and grace! Naomi will be missed!
I would suppose they were the best duo, not just the best mother daughter duo, well. I can’t think of any other mother daughter duo at all…?
@@truthwins3065lol I agree...
My thought exactly.
I absolutely fell in love with their music my first year in college and never stopped loving them. As a lover of the Everly Brothers, Elvis and the harmonies of the Carpenters I just loved the purity of their voices.
Wynonna has always even Elvis-like in her delivery and power imo.
I saw em in concert years ago when my brother was alive, great times ! Still listening in 2021🎤
The the Judda in Seattle Wa. 1987
God bless your brother s memory 🕯✝️🙏🏽🦋

Back again! Sept 2024
What an entrance! After making the audience wait it out for awhile, building up the crowd with anticipation...Wynonna comes rocking out in her black getup and those boots! And Naomi twirling in backstage! Love these classy women! And those voices & that music....Pure Gold!!!

@@karenjordan5121 Hello. How are you doing?
Everyone of these people are feeling heartbreak 😭😔. What a gift these talented women shared with the world.
1:17:20 Wynonna is amazing, her voice is unmatched in country music.
That’s cause she was true country they were NOT like these fools singing country music now you know the ones I’m talking about

Love Wynonna always have, always will. ❤️❤️❤️
To the Judd family my thoughts and prayers are with you always and I'll be here when yall are ready
She is amazing!! I don’t really like country, but I love these two..
Oh! I love that scene of mama coddling up to the daughter and simply looking at her intently while singing 'Mama he's crazy'. ☺️
The words Naomi said before they started to sing “River of Time” and then the words of the song itself, were so befitting for Wynonna to sing on the previous video that I just watched. The celebration of Naomi’s life. What a wonderful southern Belle she was. Lord only knows the heartaches and struggles that we all encounter during ours lives. Unfortunately Naomi’s were more than that sweet woman could bare. I personally would like to thank her daughter’s for giving the television interview with Diane Sawyer that Ashley spoke for the entire family and thank them for letting us all watch the celebration of her life that was televised. Also God be with the entire family and her husband, Larry Strickland while they must endure this time in their lives. Lastly Rest In Peace you beautiful fragile, yet strong, woman Naomi. Your troubles are over and washed away just as in your song! ❤️
Hello Donna how are you doing today?

Naomi...what a class act...You could see the love she has / had for Wynonna...a class act as well...She gave her beautiful baby girl front & center stage. Wynonna has a strong, beautiful voice. I pray God sends his angels to encamp about her to bring her peace, comfort & joy knowing her mother is smiling down on her from heaven...cheering her on...Prayers to you Wynonna & Ashley...Sending warm hugs to you both on Angels wings ♥
