There was no proper source of actual knowledge about mercs, unless you are willing to dig about ancient forum posts to try and piece together what the mod does.
Hopefully this video aims to inform people who aren't in any of Chiv's elitist competitive circles.

And one little thing all MAA weapons are available for knight as a secondary so... how they are faster again ?
I was responding to you statement that MAA have faster weapons and then advantage to flinch in Mercs. So footspeed is not the case here - I just AGAIN proved you wrong - as knights have the same weapons. Nothing more.

I play chiv over 7k hours
and used to be a very high tier player back in the days 2012 2013
but I left competitive scene because for me it doesnt skill.full anymore
mercs is a much easier.gameplay that why peaple love it
vanila is faor amd straight forwArd
trade hits are very balaced

u choose a sow for ez feints
but u take the risk to get traded real hard there for u must feint to parry
maul user cant effectively feint but he doesnt have to feint.to parry because trade are always in his favor
and there are many more thinks that makes vanilla way more.competive then mercs but peaple dont like. because wel it to hard like u say cant realy mutli target fight in vanila well I always play vanila amd even if there are 3vs me I usually win it not ez no bit goodfoot work.is the key unlike.mercs just spam and flinch them for the win for easier then vanilla but yea thats my opinion and also a very qualified person to.say so

I fought against him only twice in a to game of dark forest. I was defending the narrow flanking path to C in the last objective on my own. He was the only enemy there and quite intimidating-looking with his dreadnought armor and pink helmet.. also I knew who he was. I expected a rather normal duel start but he pulled of all the tricks right away and killed me pretty easily because I wasn't expecting that. I could respawn instantly, though, fought him again and did the same to him which surprised him obviously because he couldn't parry even one of my strikes... and ran away. I was really angry at a teammate who crushed his skull with a polehammer while he was chickening out haha. No offense, but that was really funny. :P Seeing these videos feels kind of strange to me because he knows so much that it makes me wonder how I could make him impersonate Brave Sir Robin back then. ;)

100ms of slowdown is not placebo mate its 25% slower. Its a LOT slower! And only hits fast weapons. Mercs is a mod for ppl with slow reflex and internet connection playing knights. It simplifies the gameplay and removed any depth from it. If you want to exchange feints in slow mo - mercs is your mod.
Nah, it just makes the game more balanced with the first hit flinch thing.
