Love the unpredictability of what was to come but knowing the spots would be interesting the tricks would be well thought out and considered. Top work dude
Ok... Where do I start? This is your best work yet. Every clip carries so much care, weight and attention to detail. With each section you lean into your strengths. This is an accomplishment you should be proud of my man. Wow.
Ryan! Thank you so much! I really appreciate our dialogue and that we're able riff off each other throughout the creative process, share ideas and enjoy mutual inspiration!
It's incredible how you find these spots and then balance the quantity and quality of interactions with each one. Like others said, you never know what's coming next and that's the real magic of freestyle action sports: surprise! Tricked us! I'm gonna be rewatching this frequently, there's so many ideas in here and the work you did to not only self-film but self-photograph is mind-blowing!
Awesome stuff! Loving the creativity, intention and planning that clearly goes into your skating and editing! Great spot selection and trick vocab as well. Love all those little stalls and the footwork that add another layer and difficulty to each clip. Best solo filmer out there doing his thing (and better than most conventional non-solo edits as well!)
I'm really glad that the intention adn drama isn't lost in the stationary shots. Glad it translates. Hahaha and that is high praise....I'm just trying to do the best I can! Thanks so much!
The level of planning and execution that goes into each shot here before you even look at the tricks themselves is outstanding , spot selection is wonderful and i feel like i really get a feel and sense of place for your surroundings . you totally killed it on all fronts, enjoyed this a lot enjoyed and equally watching it come together over Instagram the past few months. Looking forward to what you bring next.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words. I know that you get out in the streets and shoot alot solo as well, so your consideration of the process really hits. Thanks!
@@ncbinline6114 For sure been working on my first lil street section for UA-cam and seeing your results versus where I am at the moment really highlights the shooting process you use, have copied your methods for some shots and the level of discipline to pull off the same trick from multiple angles consistently is tough going.
@@cianhackettNice! excited to see what you come up with! And totally, I assigned myself the rule of 3 angles. It helps translate spots and keeps both the visuals and pace less stagnant having multiple shots at varying vantages.
You could get a clip anywhere I swear! Unique stuff! My favorite kinds of sections are ones where you don't know whats gonna happen next and this is definitely one of those. It's interesting how different everyone's mind is because I wouldn't even skate a third of the things you got clips on in this.
Hahah thanks man! Glad I kept you on your toes. Your trick vocabulary, spot selection and recently spot creation, has been really inspiring, keepin' me on my toes as well, glad it's a two way street!
Wow you're very good, I don't know Aggressive inline skating is the most intimidating thing I've done. I'm only two months in, well two months just learning how to rollerblade, and maybe a week in aggressive and I just feel like it's impossible for me to do any of this.
Don't get discouraged! I've been skating for 25 years. Keep it up! There is endless joy and reward to be had inline skating, no matter what discipline you gravitate towards.
🤣🤣🤣 hahah noooo you take the prize for slams easily, and having seen your section, I know what kinda ham you're bringing to the table. Top tier! Can't wait for the public official drop of Footwork! You put in heavy duty work!!

Don't listen to Ryan he don't know what he's talking about. With that said, I'm commenting purely for engagement now.

I'm only a minute deep but stop competing with me for number of slams this year! Also, good Deftones choice.

I'm not sure which one is crazier, the wallride with the grab or using a copyrighted song 😂 good edit no matter
hahah thanks! Yeahh...hopefully there are no issues with the song...😬
