You can also use the battery to hold in the lock and headphone jack as the screws don’t always line up in the new case.

Hello my friend ! Yes if you use mSata Adapter or green motherboard because the thickness is too great for the classic shell. Hi, j'ai une erreur support Apple avec la même conf (adaptateur/msata de vos liens aliexpress) ! j'ai formaté les msata en fat32 et une deuxième fois en HFS sans résultat !
Salut, quel est le numéro de l'erreur ? essai peut-être de formater en exFat ? tu es sur PC ou Mac ?
@@ipodforever2023j’utilise Mac. La j’ai testé avec 3 adapteurs achetés ensemble et aucun d’eux fonctionnait :( j’ai bien ajouté un peu de kapton tape à l’extrémité du connecteur pour qu’il se fixe bien. Le disque dur d’origine et un autre adaptateur format M.2 fonctionnent sans problème. Le msata se formate bien et il est reconnu par mon Mac.

Battery is going between ipod motherboard and msata adapter, heat from SSD chip will destroy your batery, trust me...

@@ipodforever2023a msata is a ssd, the msata name it's just the name of the interface it uses, there is no difference in the heat, the sata and msata get equally hot, I also got one, and haven't decided where to place the battery tho, the ssd will get hot during syncs, but the battery will also produce some heat, I'm not sure what to do
