Skaife cops so much crap but his attention to detail and knowledge is second to none, he immediately called the Feeney move on Payne before it even happened even though BFeen was sideways from entry to exit and he hasn't raced competitively for well over a decade now.

@rm3266 Well, if that is the case, then it is dumb. Other series have no problem with it because they give penalties. If they are the best in Australia, then they should be able to go through a chicane without cutting it. Otherwise, they might as well have no track limits and let them drive where they want to.
Feel for Chaz Moztert's race today, the onboard computer system in his car went all bonkers on him when it came to his gear changes, its was like going into a gunfight blindfolded, but hand it to him to finish the race, hope he can rebound for Sunday to try and get back into the championship race. Cameron Hill driving in reverse, that was Ricky Bobby like in that moment. Good win by Cam Waters , he may be one of the drivers that can make some noise in the championship in the latter stages, given he's too far out of the picture.

Tickford and WAU were alright at best at Bathurst, It's just that the pendulum swings fast in Supercars and the Gen3 cars have a super small setup window
Seriously, L1 half the field just went straight and then lap 21 a defending car just went straight through two of them and gained an advantage. Idk if the clips just didnt show them getting a penalty or what.
I love Supercars, but what is the point of qualy if you can just miss the first chicane and make up 2 spots? Goulding 6th to 4th by just running through the first chicane. That is BS I reckon.
We'd have 12 destroyed cars if the ruling of going through at the start wasn't allowed. We need leniency on lap 1, No one gained an advantage they were all avoiding an accident.
@mozzaplaysgames7897 They are professional racecar drivers. If they can't navigate the track within the limits, then maybe they should do something else. Stanaway gained a clear advantage as he would have had to lift and fall in line but instead cut the chicane and kept his position.
@bremCZ every other series keeps it from happening except SuperCars. If you cut a chicane or turn in another series, then you get a penalty or have to redress.
Super cars has become a very boring event week after week the ridiculous rules enforced by the uthlority has made the events very boring and predictable the drivers have no way to move they get stuck in a position in the race and because of the ridiculous rules around the engines and car setup no one can possibly advance unless they are very lucky. The sport is loosing me as a supporter and spectator
Still boring , apart from the 1st lap passes theres no action and its a procession. Only interesting bit was mostert losing his gear position so had to clutch shift the gearbox just as they should. Make all the cars have to clutch shift with a proper gearbox and narrower tyres so they are more difficult to control and it may get interesting, until then ive only watched bathurst and this race and there wasnt much difference in the boredom. Again the support races were far better even the pos utes which suck balls
@@robertjames1324 They could have gone to the most common GT3 tyre, a 325mm x 705mm on a 18" x 13" rim (instead of a 280x680mm on a 18x11") when they all bought new rims for Gen 3. Oh well, too late now.

We don't have a down town, the track is the northern part of surfers Paradise into main beach
Mostert: he need to use pit speed settings? why not switch it of and keep an eye on your pit speed in race mode?
I thought this too. Maybe there is something in the rules about it, not too sure. Maybe it has to be on and if it isn't race control knows about it.
Looking at the gear display it looked like the whole thing was confused. I’d guess they were worried that it would lead to bigger issues.
