Very subtle and precise interpretation. Listening to the piece I could hear every word very well and distinctly. The singer pronounced Russian words almost without any accent. Great!

I’m not sure who’ll be reading this, but anyway: The Russian pronunciation overall isn’t perfect, but there’s no quick fix for that. I don’t think it’s a good idea to pick out one "incorrect" word, moreover risking she’ll sing "aknyom" in future, where it’s really "agnyom". He may be overemphasizing the letter for clarity, but if given a choice between "aknyom" and "anyom", I’d prefer the latter.
I don’t think it’s about “preference”. It’s a matter of Russian diction, which might be slightly different from spoken or colloquial Russian.
дело даже не в произношении, руки доле, ноги шире)) курица лучше споёт, и дело даже не в этой прекрасной исполнительнице, возможно моё личное восприятие виновато, но произведение Сергея Васильевича живёт когда исполняется богатыми бархатными голосами, а сопрано игольчатое* может взять себе любое другое ))

Greetings. Thanks for the video. I'm a Russian musician. May I comment a little on your attempt to interpret Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff. A bit belated, but still)))). Behind the performance, one can sense little awareness of what composer's music this duo is performing. The pianist and the singer have not listened to other works by Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff and it can be heard))). I can absolutely say that this romance was not written to demonstrate the top note! The whole piece is at a distance from understanding what it is about!!! It's not about pronunciation. It's missing the most important thing - understanding!

Piano feels a little bit rushed because of the "pay it back" thing. But maybe that's just my preference. Absolutely stunning rendition though.
