photon ..my thoughts exactly. Absolutely terrible. There should be the death penalty for inept clowns like this cameramen. Even the interviewer is so boring, with his hackneyed questions. and remarks. But at least Naipaul got enough time to speak his bought, be cause Shekhar let him.
The name of the show was 'Walk The Talk'. Since walking by the subject & the interviewer was a non-starter given Naipaul's health issues, the cameraman possibly felt obliged to do some justice to the name 😆
I was just writing on CTC page how SG is everywhere. And today I was randomly searching content on VS Naipaul. And he is SG interviewing him. What a guy !
I may not agree with some of his writings... BUT having read his work.. I can certainly agree he was a brilliant writer & pathbreaker. His thoughts were very pointed & deep.
Jumping from one question to another as a typical leftist who wants to hear the intended answer to all his questions, Mr. Gupta was not able to bring the talk to the level of his guest.
Don't go for theories but see the world as it is and try to find truths there. The world is full of theories and India has much more than other nations.
"To look at the present very hard and without prejudice,....." Looking "very hard." Looking "very hard." Looking "very hard." And Mr. Naipaul has said that a colonial lacks both intelligence and focus. He got that back problem because of the condition of the colonized.

It seems cameraman's previous job was of a wedding videographer . Left ,right, centre ,360° , zoom in , zoom out ....uffff

Walked up and down behind the person they interviewed lol
Low budget . No Tripod. Using an Intern. Clueless.

"Future is contained in the present." Very wise words Mr. Naipaul! RIP.
The camera person is used to walk the talk and so (s)he does.
"when jargon meets jargon, there is no cause" so very well said.. i wish I can remember this when I get carried away
its walk the talk, it seems the cameraman has decided to take a walk!
Sir V.S. Naipaul is very subtle in his approach,he tries to observe things as they are with multiple moving parts large and small.
You were the greatest writer I came across. RIP

Monumental literary figure. High standards with a keen eye on humanity.
Couldn’t be more fitting tribute for this Lord of letters. NDTV, thanks for uploading this.

He didn't love your religion though
@@rishi333dey9 I think that might be a reason he doesn't agree with his writings.
He correctly articulated about future of left parties
And he refused to say anything about the bjp, except that he loves their passion
Oh God. Shekar Gupta.

Agree completely. He also does not let VS Naipaul speak!
Far sighted human being
the last line says all...its no important...so true
Feel sorry for VS Naipaul, having to go through an interview with an
average not up to the mark interviewer.
Days when NDTV was unbiased.
The camera man checking the angle during the interview gets me cracking...
What’s the cameraman doing? Can’t be still. Seems like he had renal colic.
What can one do, what can one do.....wasnt it really elegant to listen to??
RIP
what's wrong with the camera man? why can't he sit still.

Why didn't Mr. Naipaul slap the cameraman? I would've!
After finishing the video I think Mr. Naipaul should've slapped Gupta as well.
Shekhar Gupta doesn't let him speak! - How irritating!! ...
Great interview, but terrible, terrible coverage.
