GraceWorship 01 19 2025 The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength

Welcome to our worship service today. In today’s Old Testament reading the people of Israel have returned to their homeland and their city of Jerusalem in 530 B.C. following their capture and exile by the Babylonians in present day Iraq. They are so happy to be home that they go to the new temple and ask for the Torah to be read to them. Ezra, the priest, reads to them the Torah, which is the first five books of the Old Testament. May God bless your worship today as you hear and learn from God’s word, thus experience the joy of the Lord for you.
