After quite a few years are buying camera bags, I bought one of these about 2 years ago and found it to be simply outstanding. It's without doubt the best bag I have owned and does absolutely everything I want from a bag. Gret video by the way.
Thanks! Yes I’ve been very happy with mine too.
I love the shelves with each one having its own light.
Yea it was way too dark there without the extra lights.
Can't wait to see your new studio area.
Thanks looking forward to getting it done!
This is such a fantastic video man, loved the info, your persona, and the detail! Was an incredible easy watch! Thank you!
Much appreciated!
Have fun with your new bag Eric hope it works out for you and good luck with the studio.
Thanks Paul!
So, I was looking at a new messenger bag from timbuk2...now I have to rethink this again! 🤩
It depends on how much gear you’re going to carry. 25lbs got to be too much for a messenger bag (after 10+ years of it!). But for less gear, the messenger bag is so good and efficient.
@@BillEricPhotography I’m not sure if I want a back pack even though I know your right about the weight (I’m in my 50’s and starting to feel it too). My favorite bag was a lowepro holster with an extra pouch on the front. It held my A-1 with the power winder with the 35-105 f4 attached while the pouch held my 24mm and another roll or 2 of film. The good old days 😱
They were good old days!
My bag I use the 450 love it hope enjoy your new camera bag.
Just used it out today for the first time and really loved it!
i don't use them much but when i do i use Mindshift 18 liter back pack, same people who make the thinktank duo lens cases,
what i like about the mindshift one is you or anyone else cant get to the gear while you are wearing it on your back, spin it agound on the waist strap and its easy excess.
That one looks pretty good too!
@@BillEricPhotography i was wondering if you were going the check it out, i got the small one because as you know i use the M50, it was big enough for a telescope and my m50+sigma 100-400 with a tripod and couple other lenses for the saturn / jupiter events.
that has been the only time i have used it, (heels and back packs not really go together), its there if i need it and with winter i'm much more likely to be dressed to use it.
just ordered the 11-22mm m mount lens.
Happy new year guys.
Would love to see and Eric and Bill designed backpack 🎒
So would we! Unfortunately you might be the only one looking for that!
Happy New Year Eric! Looks like a nice bag for your setup. Makes me appreciate my M50 setup and being able to carry my entire kit in my small Lowepro Slingshot Edge 250AW bag. My Uniondale Class of '82 body can deal with that. 😊 The new space is looking good. Can't wait until you get your lighting worked out. Especially if you're going to put a small RGB or two in the back.
Thanks Tom, happy new year! Yes, the lighter equipment is definitely appealing. I was hoping that Canon would be making smaller lighter lenses for the R series, but they’re just making big wider aperture lenses!
@@BillEricPhotography Rumor is that Canon will drop the M mount after 2021. I'm not happy about that. The R series they've come out with so far are way to expensive for entry level folks. They're going to need to do something about that.
Yeah I think they’re going to make a camera like an “R50” which will me an RF mount version of the M50
@@BillEricPhotography I hope so. But they need to have lenses that go with it at least as good as what they have for the M mount, which isn't even that great.
Thanks 🙏🏻 for your presentation
👍
What’s you thoughts between this one and the pro tactic 450 aw II
The 350 pro trekker is smaller and I like the layout and design better
hey...im planning on getting lowepro protactic bp 350 aw ii and i use Nikon D750 with 200 to 500mm...do u think d750 with 200 500mm attached would fit in that bag...or do uk anyone who uses that bag???
I went the opposite. Have the lowepro Whistler 450aw for hikes or days I need a lot of gear. After watching you for a while I’ve converted to shooting straight primes and went to the Tenba DNA 15 messenger bag. How is the backpack for shooting primes? I mainly switched bags due to the inconvenience of lens switches for the primes. When shooting zooms it wasn’t really an issue. I’m a person of an “undisclosed” age as well. 🤣 even with body / three primes / filter /accessories the bag gets to be a little much through the day. Would like to ask for a day at Disney with a R series camera if you could only take three primes what would they be? Debating on EF 24 1.4, EF 50 1.4 and EF 135 1.8. Or possibly switching the 135 for the RF 85 1.4, mainly due to weight. Love the videos.
Thanks! I’ve been doing 3 primes in a messenger bag on my Disney days (unless I’m there JUST for photography) and I usually go with the 24/50/135 combo. Using the backpack for primes is not conducive to shooting, unless I’m going to be parked in one area for a while.
Hi
Thank your for the review video very helpful to decide either to but the bag or not , I have a question does it fit the rf 70-200 f 2.8 in stand position?
Yes that lens will fit standing
Not standing up though. The Canon RF 70-200 is short enough to fit.
