Is this what they call it as "technicals" Of a stock?
No. This comes under fundamentals. Technicals will involve reading stock price charts.

@srivikarthik Nvidia's fiscal year is bit different. Their last quarter result was for Q3 2024.

Nice video sir, next time explain with Indian stock as an example .
Nice concept, very well explained. I have doubts on its applicability in valuing an equity..
1.what are some common values of % to be used to evaluate stocks?
2.Is it something which big HNIs follows for valuation?
3.Do you personally use it somewhere?
Thanks!

If company is generating profits every year they may or may not give profit to their shareholders as dividends. but how every day price is moving as far we know it is because demand and supply. please explain that in practical day. how company's financials affect price during annual report time. generally , wanted to know relation ship between share price , company and share holders. Thank you in advance.

Sir is 321 buydown mortgage is good? Planning to buy a house .. confused whether to go for traditional mortgage or buydown mortgage? Can you please put a video on buy down mortgage?
Same as ever book by Morgan Housel is fantastic. You should read it.
It is in my list. Thanks for the recommendation.
@@InvestmentInsightsTamil I am right now reading this book, blown away by the chapter wild numbers. The book is straight to the meat.
Hello sir
I am very new to this
I am learning only
After you explain about risk.you said 12% as discount based on risk before that already 7% discount was there basked return yearly basis (assumption) So it supposed to be 19% when it come together or 5% based on risk right?
Good morning sir...

Sir... Could u pick a company's financial sheet and create a video on how to do fundamental analysis?
and talk about all basic to advanced concepts
Check the description. Link for financial statement analysis is already there.
Sir based on your recent video on discount cash flow.
i wish to evaluate for my house bought in loan using this method, 7% (home loan interest rate 8.7%-20% of 8.7%) where 20% is assumed tax bracket is discount rate, growth arte 3.5% & perpetual growth rate kept constant.DCF valuation 54 lakhs but bank valuation 47 lakhs, Here the tax bracket is key, those who enjoy income tax deduction are at profit, rest all real estate is not worth the invetsment, atleast in my town, because house valuation comes down to 36 lakhs without income tax deduction enjoyment.
Thank you so much, If i want to read these topics in a book what would you suggest?

@@InvestmentInsightsTamilwe are getting stuck after starting terminal growth rate Sir. Otherwise a very useful video. Expecting a valuation series from you Sir.
Thanks a lot!
Kindly explain how to calculate discount factor in detail sir@@InvestmentInsightsTamil
@@InvestmentInsightsTamilTerminal value sir
Yes, Sir. A valuation series will be great.
For people getting struck with calculation, I did the below:
1. Follow the video and do the calculation along with the video in an excel. Helps to deep learn and establish good understanding
2. Use the chatgpt or bard, to get the insights on the significance of terms like terminal value, discount factor to get more clarity.
I mostly download and listen twice ❤🎉
Thanks for the crystal-clear explanation. Hoping to learn more.
May I know how did u arrive at 36B as cash flow? As I see it to be around ~27B in Google Finance.
Assuming 4* latest quarter earnings
I used the 9B net profit from current quarter * 4 for simplicity sake. But yeah, using FCF is the right thing to do.
Hi sir ..I am having problem in finding present value, discount factor you mentioned for example Discount factor=1/(1+Discount Rate)^period at 3:49 is the one you mentioned the result you got is 0.82 but when i do the same calculation i got the discount factor to be 1/512=0.001953125 I dont know why the calculation doesnt work for me
You need to use 7% (0.07). That would be 1/(1.07)^3 = 0.816
Thalaivar ehh netprofit and net cash flow are different thaana en nenga same ahh assume pannerukinga ?
Yeah, totally different. Naan samenu assume pannala. Just used net income for simplicity sake. But you are right. I should have used free cash flow, which is $7B for Nvidia. Good catch. 👏🏽
@@InvestmentInsightsTamil❤️
Vijay Mohan sir.. discount rate calculation thappa varudhe sir...for the 1st year "1/(1+7)^1"...so 1/8 = 0.125 dhana varudhu? Ungaluku epdi 0.93 varudhu?? Am I doing anything wrong here?
7%. You need to use 0.07 in your formula.
@InvestmentInsightsTamil Thank you, sir. School la padicha maths marandhruchu. Thanks for all your efforts. You are the only reason behind my investing. I'm looking for more such videos sir, especially on fundamental analysis. Your explanation with simple examples are crystal clear.
No one teaching finance has said , investment strategy is according to yout nature and type. That is called personal finance nu orutharum sollala. Mathavanga idhu tha sari nu solluvaanga.
