The reason you are probably overheating is you have placed the intercooler in front of the radiator and there is no flow to it so it can't cool fast enough, plus the downpipe is literally touching the radiator. Try rooting some flow to the radiator and shielding it before dooming the entire project. Try driving it with no bumper on for example and see if it makes any difference. I had that problem before, solution was moving the intercooler 3 cm (1 inch) lower so that air could pass over it and hit the radiator.
Yeah im going to be ceramic coating the downpipe and wastegate pipe as well as heat wrapping them and get a vented hood. Not dooming the project because it gets hot ive been building this car for 6 years man its just getting a bit stale but thanks for the tips!
U easily spend 10k in K-swap no finish car, RSX bad UA-cam decision, sell the EG you are to tall for that thing, keep or resale apart the Recaro seats and the motors check list price in Hmotorsonline they sell for big money that engines and the end depends what do you pursuits is your decision
10k is a lot bro they dont cost that much these days. I can get the full swap Engine, ECU, Harness, trans, clutch kit, axles, shifter cables and shifter box for 3k. I could have it in the car running and driving for 5k all day long. But why RSX bad YT decision? Lots of people build them that get more views than me?? I appreciate the feedback though!
