You’ll see conflicting things online to use or not to use primer. Personally I’ve done both primer and no primer and I haven’t noticed a difference either way. Neither of them flaked or peeled after a few years so idk I just skip the primer on valve covers with this wrinkle paint, its extremely resilient as is👍

If you have blown struts then yes. If you have no struts like I did then no the squeak would be coming from the hinges!

Ahh okay ill look into that and see if i can find those auto shifter wires in the dash, thanks man! Also watched some people wired the switch directly to reverse lights but im not sure how that will work.

@ yea, the plug is the one you either disconnect or cut off when removing the auto console so it’s the 2 top middle I believe on the plug but should double check

Sweet ill have to take a look I bought this car 6 years ago already manual swapped that was one of the only things done to this car I didn’t do myself

@lmartinmiami82 Thats fair I only had to roll fenders because im slammed. I have 15x7.5 +35 wheels too and they sit a little sunk doesn’t quite fill out the fender but they still look good!

Ahhh thats the worst! I had a similar issue. Went to do a simple throw out bearing and within 3 days it made the same sound. Replaced the throw out bearing 2 more times and turns out the input shaft was bent ever so slightly to where you couldn’t see or feel it by hand and it kept eating throw out bearings i was so confused for weeks 😂
