It's Mycenaean era, partially tombs and otherwise bathhouses. Its the reason for the pyramid shape which is fringe and contentious.

It looks like the Tomb of Clytemnestra, a Mycenaean tholos-type tomb built c. 1250 BCE.

Are there any signs of fire damage? There’s some mysterious stone structures elsewhere in Europe that have been used to smelt minerals (mainly iron) by loading them up with ore and coal/fuel. The fire is bellowed and kept going for a long time, potentially several days. This technique is still used in remote parts of Africa.

It is well known that during the Metal Age there were migrations from Egypt, the Levant and Asia Minor to the Balkan Peninsula. Greece and Albania have the highest percentage of haplogroups characteristic of the Middle East - E and J.
E haplogroup is actually from the Horn of Africa and migrated into the the Levant and Southern Arabia all the way up to the Fertile Crescent.

The Romans had pyramids too. Have you seen the pyramid of Celsius in Rome? Whereas those pyramids you show, their masonry is typical of Classical and Hellenistic Greece, that is polygonal or trapezoidal masonry - most town walls or fortresses of those periods are built in that way as well as terraces, podiums, houses and gymnasiums (see: J.-P. Adam, L'architecture militaire grecque, 1982). Lime mortar was only used in Roman times. My first guess would be that those pyramids were Hellenistic fancy graves, inspired by the conquest of Egypt. They could also be memorials for mythical heroes who were said to have stemmed from Egypt. Mycenaeans used rather ashlar stones for fancy graves like at the "treasury of Atreus" and cyclopean masonry for fortifications - these pyramids use neither one and look like around the middle of the first millenium BC judging by the masonry alone. Thermoluminescence is not used on stones but on ceramics and you can have easily Bronze Age ceramics in the vicinity of a classical site, they are everywhere in Greece.
Thanks, I had not heard of the pyramid of Celsius. Much more advanced stonework, but seems to follow the same principles.

@@TheLotan The guy that thinks that the mountains in Bosnia are pyramids also thinks that the Mayans were descendents of aliens from the Pliedes via Atlantis and that crystal skulls are actually real things. I'd love for there to be crazy giant ancient pyramids in Bosnia, but the only person making that claim is clearly kooky.

In all seriousness, I wonder if the excavation at Daskalio might shed some insight when more of the findings are published.
Daskalio probably has very little to do with these Greek Pyramids, but IF it is a step pyramid structure (I think the evidence released to the public so far suggests more of a walled settlement that happened to be unintentionally pyramid shaped), then it could have some interesting implications. My imagination makes me wonder if early Daskalio might have some kind of connection to very late Monte d’Accoddi in Northern Sardinia, a “step pyramid” site which has unearthed Cycladic (should we call them Ozieri?) style figurines.

You have to look at the precision of the stonework.
Megalithic unsymmetrical blocks with no mortar fitted precisely together are the most fascinating. As the dates usually attributed to their construction are periods when only primitive tools were available.
And there seems to be identical machining marks at different sites globally.
Such as the scoop marks around the unfinished obelisk at Aswan and in China etc.
And others will point that many Hellenistic period stonework is similar. Unfortunately the style doesn't tell us too much. Many Mycenaean period works also used unsymmetrical blocks, using more refined blocks in more grandiose projects

To my eye the stonework looks very primitive -- the doorway doesn't even have a proper arch, and the joinery is somewhat haphazard. And the edge weathering is a lot more than we see even with softer, more-recent stoneworks. I'd think that would tilt it toward the 3000BC date. So, a what-if: Did these people later migrate to Egypt, and get carried away with this pyramid-building thing?

@@Reziacfalse pyramids came from Mastabas which were mound structures the step pyramid of Saqqara is one of the first and it’s much larger and complex in its building then this Greek imitation.
Man what about their orientation to true north? Did you check that? Or the type of stone and its magnetic orientation? What about its electric conductivity? All pyramids around the world share these commonalities. Wouldn't that be odd for a tomb? You aren't asking enough questions mate.
As far as we know currently know China has the most pyramids not Egypt.

There are pyramids but someone in the commented this all ready. However there are speculative pyramids further north. Interestingly tied to Aztec. Look up “Aztlan” lake ruins

I would think this happened after Alexander the Great made his great empire and then it got split up between the various generals and Ptolemy got in getting Egypt would make sense that if he had a summer place in Grace or winter place in Greece that he could you know have Egyptian engineers come up and build small pyramids for him. that's the only possibility I can think of that would equate Egypt with Greece in any form of context. or during this. egyptians emigrated to Greece and had like merchants and builders and what not in the area to recreate little bit of Egypt. that's the only things I can think of that would cause pyramids increase.

They have found 16 pyramids in Greece, and the best perseverance is the one of Argos.
Greek pyramids are older than Egyptian but not the same in size.
It is used as a great warriors memorial tomb.

Another name of Sparta region was and still is Lakonia / Λακωνία
That means in Greek cone/mountain, and indeed, if you look the mountain above (ταύγετος) you will see that is shaped by human hands as pyramid😮
