- We so loved getting to reunite with our amazing friends @OurTribeofMany as we finished out the last leg of traveling for our Summer Vacation. The kids were so happy getting to see their friends again! And so were we! It seems like swim parties are becoming a theme for us this year, which has us seriously considering putting a pool in on our new Fixer Upper Dream House we are renovating! Stephen even got to lead the music at their church on Sunday before heading to the studio to record a couple of new songs!

Having a rectangular pool with the pool cover, I highly recommend it! Our grandson at 18 months would run across the cover on the diagonal. His older sisters ride their bikes around the pool while he rode his scooter. If they feel in, the cover held them & their bikes. They'd just stand up and get out & pull their bikes out. We live in the Phoenix area and while there are drownings every year with fences, there has never been one in a pool with the cover. (We had it because when we first moved in, my BIL who is handicapped lived with us. By the time he moved out, our son & his family moved in for 4 years.)
Pro: a lot less debris when there are storms. (We have dust storms and it would blows across the cover.)
Pro: We didn't heat the pool, but the cover provides some passive solar heating. We gained 6-8 weeks of use each year because of that. (Because Phoenicians don't swim until the is inn the 90's....)
Con: when it rains you have to put the pump on top and monitor it, moving it to keep the water from being too heavy. (I got real proficient & would water plants with it.)
Con: unless they've fixed the problem, we had several breaks where the house attaches to the pump. My husband looked it up and we kept a stock of things from Home Depot to fix it ourselves. (That was his proficiency.)
Both families are an excellent example of how God wants us to be. You are all so kind and loving-Blessings to all!
We like to live like that but money is the stomping point. What is there job? Who can travel like that or what job pays that kind of money? I am still surging.

Our Tribe of Many put the heater in the pool and that was a game changer for them! They use the pool so much longer than anyone else. They also open it earlier. It is truly awesome. The top they have on their pool is extremely child safe!
Well, having a pool and a trampoline surely is a blessing to get lots of kids entertained as well as doing sports.
Also love it when both of your families get together. That's where i knew you guys from when you did the collab cook off!

I actually looked forward for this day, Reese has an attachment with her siblings and family but experience it living independently. I'm happy she's going back home to a family. Because I no longer have my parents and they've been under my care my whole life of 33. Appreciated and take care of your parents siblings.tp be noted I'm the youngest out of 6 but has the work

Oh my goodness I absolutely LOVE Colorado....my eldest daughter has lived there since 2018 (she moved from Upstate NY where I still reside!) and I try to visit there as often as I can - I really do need to just move there, the mountains are so so stunning!! ❤❤❤
