I’d say Kira’s stereotype is that she’s an “Alt Girl,” something that was very popular in the early and mid-2000s. And she fits in there pretty perfectly, but just like the others I don’t think it takes away from her character.
Something I really like about the Dino Thunder Rangers is the fact that they really do feel like teenagers trying to fit into whatever role they think they belong in, Jock, Nerd, Alternative, and over time as they learn what it means to be a power ranger, they start to exit those molds. It’s only fitting that their short stint as rangers doesn’t fully change them as people, they’re still growing teens. And I heavily relate to that, especially when I rewatched it back when I was in high school.
If Ethan was real, he'd be really good at Super Smash Bros Ultimate and be inseparable from his Nintendo Switch. Same goes for Cookie from Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. I base this assumption on 7 different Marines I've met during my enlistment who have all the same "dorky black nerd with a heart of gold" personality quirks. We've since gone our separate ways and live in all different places scattered across the world now, and I miss every single one of them.

Just like conner not everybody is nice. I really get tired of people thinking everyone else is nice. Im not nice at all😮
I'm enjoying your video but the audio is so low that to listen to this I have to turn down the volume of everything else and turn this audio way up. I wish youtube would just fix this but I wanted to call it out because I enjoyed the video.
Thank you so much for mentioning this. I’m still finding new ways to balance everything, bc for whatever reason each time I find a new volume setting that works, it ends up being too low. Continuing to rectify this for future releases, again thank you for bringing this up
Conner always felt off to me, like I don't hate him but I think he is the least interesting Ranger in a season of interesting Rangers. I think the biggest factor for that is the showrunners not being consistent with how much Tommy would be a mentor. Sometimes he feels like a Kruger and sometimes he feels like the actual Red Ranger with Conner "Blue Ranger" at best. Combine that with Trent's story being larger than the average Sixth Ranger and having a situationship with Kira, like what is there for Conner to do? Kiss kiss slap slap with Ethan I guess. Dino Thunder feels like Tommy going "You are the leader, wink wink." All in all, I think Conner should have been the Yellow Ranger and everything would have worked out. He would have been a wisecracking joker who occasionally needs some reining in. Kira should have been Red Ranger which would have balanced perfectly with Tommy. Kira would have been the "first" female Red Ranger and would have needed some guidance especially given her even more withdrawn nature than the other two and the likely early sexism on Conner's part. It would have needed some finessing but I think it could have been handled masterfully. I also think it would have given Trent vs the team even more oomph.
So is Tommy gonna be forever long?
