High-speed pursuit after Wichita officer run over by suspect

An officer with the Wichita Police Department had his leg run over by the driver of a white truck that sped away from police Thursday morning in south Wichita. A high-speed chase north through the city ended with the truck crashing into another motorist at 15th and Meridian. The driver of that car sustained serious injuries. (Aug. 24, 2023)
