How to set Pipeline Rules for Custom Objects

Having trouble keeping your custom objects organized in HubSpot? Managing them without proper structure can be tough.
Pipeline Rules for Custom Objects are a great way to bring order to your workflows, ensuring your processes run smoothly and consistently.
In this video, we’ll show you exactly how to set up these rules to keep everything on track.
1. Log into your HubSpot account.
2. On the top navigation bar, click on the gear icon.
3. On the left panel, click on Custom Object and then go to the Pipelines tab.
4. Under the Configure tab, adjust the stages to suit your needs.
5. Now click on the Pipeline Rules tab.
6. Toggle and configure the rules based on your requirements. There are three optional rules available:
Limit tutorials creation to specific stages
Restrict tutorials from skipping stages
Restrict tutorials from moving backwards
With these Pipeline Rules in place, your custom objects will now be more structured, making your workflows smoother and your data more consistent.
