Jus finished my full scale HiC two days ago and proudly displayed it this Halloween. It was worth all the time put in to see the kids faces. When I'd get discouraged I'd watch yours or other makers videos and it helped me restart the fire and get motivated. Thanks and great work on yours!

Hi guys. Sorry for the failure to reply; I'm not one that looks back at any UA-cam stuff I put up. I live in the UK so the materials are like you source anywhere really; automobile stores, DIY stores etc. As for the actual parts; the boxes were made by a friend of mine who is a joiner by trade so he sourced the wood and had the pieces laser cut for precision. He then kindly assembled the naked box in his workshop.
The Volvo dash panels were cast in resin by a prop builder/friend in the UK. He did us 5 set as there were 5 if us each building a HIC (him included). I am not sure he will do these for other potential buyers so please be respectful and ask him first; his name is Roos at RWA Creations. As for the Han parts, sorry but I can't share that information but these are available from various sources online if you checkout prop building pages such as the RPF forum and similar. We had them done in the UK to reduce costs and shipping.
The lighting effects are as shown in the video, done by Trooper Amp (TRamp) here in the UK.
The paint used was Rustoleum gun metal metallic for the box and silver and nickel from their Universal range (non hammer finish) for the panels and greeblies. The initial carbonite fill was done with a flexible floor levelling compound with PVA glue layered randomly over the top (still the one thing I am not 100% happy with as there is too much detail and the actual prop was much less busy). Some of the greeblies were made from odds and sods from DIY stores, and the more specific ones like the circular dishes and clips were part of a kit available from Shapeways. There are a few options available so I'd advise checking them out and see what best fits your budget (they aren't cheap).
