I love seeing all of your stitching! I haven’t tried a large variety of fabrics but I think right now my favorite is linen of any thread count in the 30s. I just like the finished look of the pieces on them.
Hi Lynn! Great video! I love the progress on your full coverage pieces. Thanks so much for sharing my designs and for supporting my shop!! Very much appreciated! ❤😊 I cannot wait for your shop to re-open and to order some fabric! The Darling David piece that you sent me already has a home in one of my 12x12 Blackbird starts!!! happy stitching Lisa
Love the library finish!! My favorite fabric to stitch on is 36 count linen - I like how tiny the stitches are without destroying my eyes on 40 count. 😂
Your stitching is so pretty..I am intrigued by full coverage projects but at 71 years of age I’m concerned I’d never complete it in my lifetime lol I just got back into stitching a couple of years ago..had always stitched on 14 count Aida decades ago so have been trying lots of different counts of Aida, Lugana and a few linens. I think my favorite fabrics are 16 and 18-count Aida and 28 and 32- count Lugana. I really like the look of Lugana but can see the holes on Aida easier. I’ve looked at your Etsy shop and you have dyed some gorgeous fabrics! I enjoy your flosstube. Happy Thanksgiving! Suzette
I stitch a love of fairies and mermaids and my favourite for them is 28 count opalescent Lugana evenweave. The beads sit a bit better and the shimmer just ramps up the bling factor.
❤. Hi Lynne! Your Villians piece is awesome! I do enjoy seeing the progress! Your new MFE project will be a great New Year start! My favorite fabric to stitch on is 36 count linen. I do dabble into 40 count. But, 36 count is my sweet spot!❤. Have a wonderful month and holiday 🦃!
The Library finish looks great. My favorite fabric for full coverage is aida but for almost all my other projects I prefer Lugana. I love your new colors of fabric!
The Haunted Library - WOW - you stitched that fast! Love your fabrics and the new colors are gorgeous. Headed to your Etsy store today. My favorite fabric counts are 16 count and 18 count. Have a great week and thank you for another great video!
I am loving all of the fabrics in your shop - so fun! My favourite fabric to stitch on is 28ct evenweave, I just like the feel of evenweave, and 28ct is my sweet spot for anything other than full coverage. Then it’s 25ct evenweave… x
Thank you Lynne you are so generous. I have the same dilemma as you with MFE: I've finished SAL 2021 in December 2021, barely started SAL 2023 and I'm almost certainly going to buy SAL 2024. One colour will be DMC 3750 as for the first 2, but I'll change the 2nd colour again. My favorite fabric is 32 ct linen for these samplers, but for full coverages, I love to stitch on evenweave lugana 25 ct or 28 ct if there are lots of dark colours. See you soon Muriel
My favorite count of fabric is 28 & 32 count for easy stitching. It always depends on the size of the chart if I want it smaller than what’s charted. So it could be any size Linen or Aida it doesn’t matter to me. I learned on Aida too so that’s also comfort stitching.
Awesome finish!!! Your bookshelf HAED is also coming along so well! I’m one of those people that don’t have a favorite fabric to stitch on - I lick fabric based on what I’m stitching. One of my favorite HAEDs I stitched on 18ct aida, but I have others on 25 and 28ct. I very much enjoyed 0:01 a small I did on 46ct, but I would never want to do a HAED over 1 that small with all the confetti!
Great finish of the Haunted Library! I really need to start that one...and about 20 other patterns that are calling to me...loudly. My favorite fabric to stitch in is linen, usually 36 count, though I am trying some 40 count, and I recently bought a piece of 46 count (retreat euphoria is responsible for that, I'm sure). Hope to see you at the next For the Love of Stitches gathering.
Right now I’ve only stitched on Aida and Evenweave, so my favorite so far is 32 count Lugana 2x2 since it gives better coverage while still letting me see the holes
Congratulations on the finish of your library! Someday I'll start it. ❤ My favorite is 32ct linen or evenweave but once in a while it will switch to 40ct.
My favorite fabric to stitch on (for the feel/process) is zweigart 28ct lugana not over dyed. But I love the look of my 32ct linen finishes. 1over2 on 36ct is also beautiful but I haven’t fallen in love with the process of single strand stitching. I love your new starts!
Thank you for sharing. My favorite fabric to cross stitch on 25 count Lugana. Your Halloween Library stitch is great looking forward to seeing how you finish it.
Love that new one from Jacob, but I have to keep telling myself I already have more than enough in my stash....lol.....I also started stitching on Aida, never thought I would ever stitch on linen. But one day I was feeling brave, or stupid, and emailed my favourite LNS a list of samplers I wanted to start and let her pick the fabrics. My only exception was nothing smaller than 46ct...lol...she sent me all 32, 36 and 40ct linens. I was very nervous when I started the first one but found it really easy. Now my favourite fabric is 32ct linen. You need to try linen, it's not hard.
Oh, I do want to do Enchanted Library, yours is beautiful. My favorite fabric is 36 count linen at the moment. Sometimes I’ll stitch with two strands, sometimes one depending on the pattern.
My favorite (I usually spell it favourite haha) fabric to stitch on so far has been plain undyed 25 ct Lugana! It's so easy and smooth, and the 1 over 1 crosses look so beautiful against it. I haven't ventured into linens yet either! But I've joined a SAL for next year that I ordered some linen for so I can finally try it.
You are a very busy stitcher! I think my favorite fabric for stitching is 18 count Aida, however, I am enjoying 28 count evenweave or linen lately! Have a great Thanksgiving!
My favorite fabric is 18 count Aida. Just found you and I’m so impressed with the amount of stitching you accomplish between videos. I’ll be checking out your Etsy shop to see your beautiful fabrics. Looking forward to your next video!
Historically 25 count has been my favourite although I have to admit my eyes at this point prefer 18. There’s lovely coverage on 18 AND I can loop start!
Beautiful stitching as always. Congratulations on your finish of the library. My favorite fabric is lugana, but I do a lot of full coverage on 18 ct aida.
I enjoyed your video. I love all of your projects. You are moving right along in the Mugshot Villains. It looks great. I haven’t started the Wicked Stepmother yet, so I will definitely not be keeping up. My favorite fabric to stitch on is 16ct Aida. I love the sturdiness of it. I tend to be a tight stitcher, so the Jobelan’s and Lugana’s and linens don’t work well for me. And 16 ct is definitely easier on the eyes.
I am so tempted to stitch MFE 2024 SAL too... I love clocks... my favorite fabric is 28ct Lugana... I stitch most of my charts 1 over 1 & it is just perfect!!!
Hi Lynn, I always love your videos, it’s like you’re sitting across the table chatting! I did the same thing re: the new MFE sal. Had to have it!😂 My favorite fabric (terrible eyesight here 🙋♀️) is 32 ct Lugana to stitch on. I can’t do 40 count anything, lol . Btw, I love your fabrics in your etsy store, I bought Brave Boromir the first time (using it for Cricket Collection Winter), the next time I accidentally bought 16 ct aida Marvelous Meg, when I was supposed to buy an 18ct. A big DUH on me, lol. Sooo, I will be revisiting your shop again to buy the correct 18 ct Marvelous Meg! Your shipping was awesome (I’m in AZ), so it got here very quickly. I totally get the burn out on full coverage HAEDs (mine is “Beloved”) , so I just set it aside to do a little Mill Hill Christmas kit. Plus I’m one of those weird peeps that love to bead 😊 Looking forward to your next vid ~Paula
Congratulations on your Haunted Library finish. Your 2 new Christmastime colors are beautiful. My favorite fabrics to stitch on are 14ct, 18 ct aidas and 25 count easy guide. I don't t mind 28 count and 32 count if I need to do 2 over 2, but prefer the aida.
I haven't been wanting to stitch on my full coverages all summer, and then in October all I seem to want to work on is full coverage. I'm definitely not a seasonal stitcher, but I do love variety. Your Haunted Library turned out great. My favorite fabric is aida. I haven't tried anything else however.
My favorite fabrics are evenweave but i cant stich on linen at all! I am ok with 14 -18 aida but prefer a smaller piece to display. I have been leaning towards 32ct evenweave lately. Thats requires eyeglasses at +2.0 and a 3-5x strength magnifyer. Bit those holes are as big as the head on a nail. Yoohoo!
You have some beautiful projects and you stitch really fast! My favourite fabric to stitch on is aida 16 or 18 count. I tried 25 count but my eyes just can’t seems to ajust ☺️.
My favorite fabric to stitch on - at the moment - is 25 count lugana or Jobelan. I am currently pushing through working on an 18 count Aida and I am struggling with pushing the needle through the holes. It is a very stiff store bought Aida, so maybe some of the softer hand dyed fabrics would be easier to stitch on. I am going to check out your shop now, as I have to start my Xmas list. Happy Stitching.
My favorite is 32 count lugana 😍 If I do full coverage, I'll do easy ct aida but I don't do a lot of those. Lugana just feels so lush and buttery. Linen isn't the same to me and though I've tried it for several projects.
My favorite fabric to stitch is 32ct Linen. That said I have recently started a project on a hand dyed 28ct Jobelan and it’s amazing. My stitches look perfect on it but it wouldn’t suit the style of most things I stitch.
It's so good to see you! My favorite fabric is 40 count linen 1 over 2. But I know someone who primarily stitches on 25 count Lugana 1 over 1! And it's so cute! I love how small everything is. I'm thinking of giving that a try. I stitched a small sampler 1 over 1 on 32 count linen and survived. So, 25 count should be easier, right? 🤞
I understand the need for a break, but your Grand Library looks amazing. My favourite fabric is evenweave (28 count) and I don’t mind Aida in the higher counts. But I’m not a fan of linen - I’ve had some bad experiences w my full coverage.
I love 25ct for full coverage, but for other projects I am searching for my favourite Type- i think lugana 32ct. I know I dont like linen, not even threads drive me nuts 😂
My favorite fabric until you started dying was 25 count Vintage Country Mocha. Unfortunately, this last week I tried stitching 1/1 on 46 count Bristol and I was able to do it!! Now I’m thinking I may need to try stitching 1/1 on 32 count Lugana to see if I can finish a project quickly in that 😅
Where do you put a finish the size of the grand library? I don't have a wall space big enough. I live the full coverage pieces but I havent started one cause I have no where to put them. My favorite fabric is 18 ct aida. I don't like linen. I tried jobelan. And like how finished pieces look on it but aida is my favorite to stitch on.
Hello Lynne, I have been keeping up with you since you started your flosstube. I enjoy all your projects and your project choices. I am hoping you can advise me. My electronic devices are Apple products. I’ve heard you mention pattern keeper. I have Silk, however it seems limited to only its recommended artists. I know I’ll probably purchase an Android device for Pattern Keeper and I was wondering what you might be able to share on those, i.e., brand, size of screen, etc. I know you’re such a rapid, neat stitcher and any advice from you would be much appreciated. Thanks for all you do!
Great question. Pattern Keeper only works currently on Android devices but there is a workaround for Kindle Fire Tablets. That’s what I use. I bought a fairly cheap one on prime day and that’s all I use it for. If you google how to get google play on a kindle fire, there is a website that will walk you through it. I know there are plenty of other android devices out there to choose from but I was already familiar with the kindle and you can get one for a fairly decadent price with the right sales so it works for me! Mine has a 10” screen and with the zoom function on Pattern Keeper, the size has been plenty for me. Pattern Keeper has definitely been a game changer for me in my stitching. I find it hard to return to paper patterns now that I have experienced the speed and ease of use of using Pattern Keeper. Good luck if you do decide to take the plunge and try it out. There are a whole lot of resources out there, including tutorials and Facebook groups with plenty of people that are willing to help out with questions or guidance.
Hello again Lynne, thanks for your prompt reply. I take your reply respectfully and I like Kindle Fire and I’ve had an earlier one and then a later model. I believe I may look into it! Thanks for your help….
I think I've settled at 32 count Lugana as my favorite. I'm impressed with your progress on the Grand Library. What a huge undertaking that is!
Grand library is so beautiful. Beautiful new starts. My favorite count fabric is 25 count and 18 count. Happy stitching
Always love your videos. Auto watch! My favorite fabric is good ol 14 count Aida. I just love how simple and effortless it is.
Your library finish looks so good. I love your Grand Library and your other WIPs.
I love seeing all of your stitching! I haven’t tried a large variety of fabrics but I think right now my favorite is linen of any thread count in the 30s. I just like the finished look of the pieces on them.
My favorite fabric is 32 ct linen. I love how the dyes are so vibrant on linen.
My favourite is 40 or 46 count linen. I loved seeing your projects, your library finish is great!
Great WIPs and amazing progress. My favourite fabric is 16 count Aida. Happy stitching 🧵
Loved seeing all of your beautiful projects. My favorite fabric is 32 count linen or 25 count easy grid , depending on the project.
The witches on the orange will be great! My favorite fabric to stitch on is 40 count.
My favorite fabric to stitch on is linen! Especially anything 32 count or higher!
Love the new colors. My favorite fabric to stitch on is 25 count Lugana
another wonderful video - thanks! My favorite favourite fabric is Lugana.
My favorite I 20 ct and then 18 ct Aida. Love seeing your projects!
I am growing into 40 count. My favorite is platinum zweigart. I bought a box of readers from Amazon, and they are enough to help my old eyes. 😂
Can’t believe you finished the library so fast! Please show it framed.
Love seeing your beautiful projects especially The grand library. My favourite fabric to stitch on is 32 count evenweave.😊
Loved that library finish. My favorite fabric to stitch on is 16 or 18 count aida. Take care and happy stitching.
I really enjoy stitching on 16 count aida. I have just began working on 25 count lugana and it may become my new favorite.
My favorite fabric to stitch on is forty-count linen. I also like even-weave for my smalls.
Love seeing your progress on your projects. My favorite fabric to stitch on is 18ct Aida, it is my happy place.
I stitch a love of fairies and mermaids and my favourite for them is 28 count opalescent Lugana evenweave. The beads sit a bit better and the shimmer just ramps up the bling factor.
My favorite fabric is 25 ct lugana 1/1 or 40 ct linen 1/2. Your fabrics are gorgeous!
Congratulations on your finish of the library 😊 Also your progress on Grand Library is fantastic. My favorite fabric to stitch on is 18ct aida.
My favorite fabric to stitch on is 32/36 count Lugana but I find myself only buying linens because they hold the dye colors so much better!
Love seeing another one of your videos! I have tried lots of different types and my favorite fabric to stitch on is 16 or 18 count Aida.
New at stitching but my favourite is 14 count aida. Your Library is beautiful. Maybe someday I will venture into something that big.
My favorite for full coverage is 18 count Aida and for samplers 16 count 😊
The Haunted Library - WOW - you stitched that fast! Love your fabrics and the new colors are gorgeous. Headed to your Etsy store today. My favorite fabric counts are 16 count and 18 count. Have a great week and thank you for another great video!

I love the Villains piece, that fabric looks so good. My favorite fabric is 16ct Aida. I enjoy some 18ct as well but my go-to is 16ct.
My favorite count of fabric is 28 & 32 count for easy stitching. It always depends on the size of the chart if I want it smaller than what’s charted. So it could be any size Linen or Aida it doesn’t matter to me. I learned on Aida too so that’s also comfort stitching.

My favorite fabric is 16 ct aida. Love your projects.
My favorite fabric is 40 count linen
My favorite fabric to stitch on is 32 count Lugana
Hi, your haunted library finish looks great, well done. My favourite cross stitch fabric is 40 count evenweave or linen.
Enjoy your November :)

Congratulations on the finish of your library! Someday I'll start it. ❤ My favorite is 32ct linen or evenweave but once in a while it will switch to 40ct.
My favorite fabric to stitch on is 16-count aida.
My favorite fabric is 32 count however I usually get 28 count so that I have enough room for beading.
I think my new favourite fabric to stitch on is Lugano 28 or 32 count, it was always 16 count aida until I started stitching Nora Corbett
You are doing much better than me keeping up on the Villain Mugshot SAL 💚 My favorite fabric to stitch on is an 18ct Aida or 32/36 lugana.
You are a very busy stitcher! I think my favorite fabric for stitching is 18 count Aida, however, I am enjoying 28 count evenweave or linen lately! Have a great Thanksgiving!

My favourite is 28ct in violet 💜💜💜
My favorite to stitch on is lugana! I’m not sure what count yet, I usually go with the count that is called for 😊
Congratulations on your Haunted Library finish. Your 2 new Christmastime colors are beautiful. My favorite fabrics to stitch on are 14ct, 18 ct aidas and 25 count easy guide. I don't t mind 28 count and 32 count if I need to do 2 over 2, but prefer the aida.

My favorite to work on is 18 count Aida. I have done linen and don’t like it. I am wanting to try lugana.
My favorite fabric until you started dying was 25 count Vintage Country Mocha. Unfortunately, this last week I tried stitching 1/1 on 46 count Bristol and I was able to do it!! Now I’m thinking I may need to try stitching 1/1 on 32 count Lugana to see if I can finish a project quickly in that 😅
Uh oh! I see more fabric in your future!
@@ThoseMissingStitches As soon as I’m out of the allowance dog house, I will be ordering some 28 count Lugana, and possibly some 32 🤢 from you 😊
My favorite is Aida, 14 to 18 count, but to be fair I tried linen once and the over two stitching just wasn't working with my brain 🙃
Where do you put a finish the size of the grand library? I don't have a wall space big enough. I live the full coverage pieces but I havent started one cause I have no where to put them.
