I've also got adhd, and it is hard to deal with at times but no matter how much your struggling just know that your not alone and there are people like you who will be willing to help if you ask them.
Me too! I've got Inattentive ADHD and I just recently got diagnosed too! There are more people out there with it than I ever imagined there were, and that was quite comforting to realize.
Hi Seri, greetings all the way from Sweden! I’m 28 and got diagnosed with Inattentive ADHD at age 25, it’s a life changer for sure. To me, it means that, well, I simply cannot do exactly everything in the same way “non-ADHD” people might, but I’ll be able to do most things my own way. I also have autism so that affects me too. The combination is tricky but it’s what makes everyone unique, we all work in different ways!

I see you more like daffodil, finally blooming in your spring after hibernating for a long winter. I hope that the flower stays blooming since I have spent nearly 8 years here on this channel since I was 10. I've seen the channel grow and hope that the community stays as an ever growing bountiful garden. I know that there are times that the flower will go back to being a bulb at times.

Just came back to catch up, and found that my favorite bright spirit had been having boss battles ( tragic loss of one of your sister’s newborn twins 😢, that same sister’s close brush with death herself 😥, and your beloved Chip ALSO had a close brush with death!!! 😱 ), and winning her way through them! You have indeed EARNED the rank of Paladin…but the level is 100, not the lowly 40 that you claimed. My sincere sympathy for the loss of your nephew, Siri. I completely understand why God loves you so much…you meet the battles of life head on, and come out all the stronger from them.
Hey Seri, I totally connected with what you have been going though, currently I’m in school and am unemployed with looming expenses. I was diagnosed with sever ADHD and even worse dyslexia at a young age and have never been on a working medication I just push though with what I have and call it good. Also in the last year I have lost 2 family members so trying to understand my feelings about it all has been difficult. I’m not seeing anyone about my mental state but I do have a long term partner who has been my back bone though all of this. I’m hoping to go to school to go into wildlife biology as it has been my passion for years, and when first deciding if it was what I wanted to do I found your channel. Just wanted to let you know you’re not the only one and that ADHD, and isn’t scary it just makes they way you work in the world a little more difficult to maneuver. Hope this coming year is full of fun adventures instead of stressful ones.
The fact you have been diagnosed with ADHD is amazing. Looking back I don’t get why I didn’t realize that you obviously had it with your energy and your ability to get distracted and of course the smaller things. Having my favorite UA-camr be a fellow neurodivergent is really awesome. It really is just so freeing getting diagnosed/realizing something like that. My boyfriend recently discovered that when he got diagnosed with autism as a child they heavily suspected him also having ADHD but no one ever followed up on that. That lead to him researching more and realizing he was a perfect example of someone with both autism and ADHD and he stopped subconsciously blocking his ADHD which means he is now more hyper but also more himself. It’s not very strong and he probably won’t need medication or at least not regular medication so he probably won’t get diagnosed until he moves out since his mom most likely won’t let him do it. But just realizing that has really helped him.
There are really a lot of people especially girls who get overlooked in regards of mental diagnoses because they were made based on boys and if you don’t react outward to the stress but inward way too many people just ignore the signs that you’re are struggling. These past few years mental illness has gotten more attention wich is awesome and I hope the world only keeps getting better at noticing those who are suffering in the dark and helping them instead of waiting till they have suffered for so long that it explodes out them and forces people to notice

I’m so sorry about your nephews, your sister the inner and outer battles but I’m so happy you’re coming out on the other side just a little stronger and wiser than before. A fun manatee fact for you all: an adult manatee can hold their breath for around 20 minutes. A newborn calf, however, needs to take a breath every few minutes. In the first weeks, when the baby is still learning to swim with control, the mother manatee will support the baby with her fin or back, pushing them up to make sure they can breathe!

Seri, you’ve helped me in more ways than I can put into words but I can try. My family knows you by name, because when I’m having a panic attack they always know who calms me down. When I first found you, I was in elementary school. I knew I wanted to work with plants and animals but had no idea how. Then you introduced me to Biology and it was like everything made sense!
Happy to report that I’m a sophomore in college, majoring in Biology and double minoring in Sustainability and Latin.
All this to say, we love and appreciate you endlessly Seri and there is plenty of your content to for us to rewatch and start over. Take all the time. We will always be here when you’re ready. 💚🌿

Yessssss it’s amazing to give yourself a year of love (and years and years after that) last year really sucked for me as I had slowly developed an ED over it but now am trying to slowly recover from it with help from my family I wish you all the luck seri may this year bring everyone a way to learn how to love themselves

I love seeing these vlog/update type of videos. They make me so happy and they are so wonderful to watch and just listen to. Seri is just such a happy wonderful person and its great to hear from her whether its a video game or an update or vlog they’re always great! I also would absolutely love to see vlogs about the mushroom kit too and watch them grow.
I'm not the kind of person who is always good with words and I tend to ramble a lot when I do try to talk. But I'm always willing to try and give it my best shot. So if there is one thing I can say, then it's that I plan to stick around for a long time. This channel, this community is my home away from home. Seri, you were one of the very first UA-camrs I watched when I was younger. I thoroughly enjoyed many of your playthroughs throughout the years and felt inspired by you along with many others. I'm finally at a point in my life where I can make UA-cam videos to share my creative passions, and a few weeks ago a dear friend bought me WolfQuest so I can play for the first time. The first few weeks of this year have been really rough though, and the algorithm has been a constant anxiety inducing stress. I couldn't have clicked on this video at a better time. Thank you once again for reminding me to follow my passions with excitement and take on the world with a positive attitude. Hello Bio-Buddy!!! So good to hear from you... not that you ever truly need to explain. I haven't posted in awhile as I've had my own stuff and family stuff going on.... for instance a young daughter inlaw was diagnosed with glioblastoma just 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and within a week was having brain surgery at Duke. She did well and has just started chemo that will continue for a year. She just had a baby a year ago and all seemed fine, SMH... Life can change so fast. BUT I have kept an eye on the channel and wondered how things are going. SO glad you've had some adventures with Chip. That time is so precious.... always treasure it and each other. NOW that you have that beautiful camera you must explore more in NC AND some here in SC... we also have Manatees!
You are close enough you can do shorter and more frequent excursions. I highly recommend Huntington State Park and Brookgreen Gardens for a start. Great wildlife. ALSO... please hunt down an area with a Carolina Bay (named for Bay trees... not for them being a Bays... though they do include water). They are a true ecological mystery! Not too far from me is Woods Bay State Park that includes one... but there are some in NC. Waccamaw Lake in NC is the largest example... though somewhat developed before being protected. They have an ecology that is not found ANYWHERE else... and no one yet understands how these mysterious aquatic depressions formed. There are ideas that include everything from a meteor storm to folktales from native Americans about Alligator people with tails that made them. These ecosystems are unique... and only occur along the southeastern coastal plain with most here in the Carolinas. Sadly many were destroyed for farming before anyone understood how unique they are. That really only happened once aerial photography and satellite images were common. They are oval shaped and are all with NW to SE orientation with sandy bottoms and a sand rim on just one side. The one at Woods Bay State Park in SC lets you take their kayaks out into the water... but you cannot bring your own because they do not want foreign aquatic species to contaminate it. There are tons of alligators and other wildlife there as well... including aquatic plant species found nowhere else. I've been there during alligator mating season and that rumble they make is so spooky cool!

Good to know you’re alright Seri, I was honestly starting to worry after 8 or 9 days passed and not a single thing was posted on UA-cam. And yay for your nephew! I am afraid to say that when I was in the NICU, I never reached three pounds and eventually they just gave up and let my parents take me home early.

I think y'all saw more manatees in Florida than I did in the years I was living there XD Also had an immeditate "Oh no!" moment when you mentioning Chips almost getting hypothermia from swimming with the manatees. I'm guessing that was spring-fed water because the springs and their water systems stay at 72 degrees year-round. Really glad he's okay! And yes! Florida makes some huge alligators! Though I'd also balk at a 13-footer lol

I know they are VASTLY different, but being diagnosed with either later in life definitely can make past behaviors and actions become clear as to why we do them.
