I really would see comparison between the heat (copycat feel) and the neonic flow (og, just around the corner). It looks similar.

I've been wanting to try the Mach 1 Forza, but with a better price point, I may try the Ballr instead. The Neonic has been my go-to paddle since you suggested it last year.

All you need to know is the Heat is 10x better. Better grip, more spin, thermoformed, unibody construction, larger sweet spot. It’s way better 😊
Would you recommend the 6.0 DBD for $30 more? Thank you for your insight.
I would not honestly. Save the $30 and spend it on some yummy food and enjoy a paddle that gets more spin than a DBD and is made in the exact same factory with all of the same materials :)

Also, thanks for using more paddles in the same range when comparing the paddle you are testing instead of just using the most expensive paddles like BJohns' and the SK S3(i believe). Gives us a better idea on how the paddle probably feels since I use the DBD now and had the Filth for a short time.

Solid paddle. Between this and the Mark paddles I recently reviewed there’s not much of a reason to spend more $ until new tech comes out.

Infinitely better in almost every way. Solid handle, better spin, better power, not quite as good of control but just a super solid paddle for the price!

@@stspickleball on the paddle… I have used it three times this week and really like it. It has plenty of power as well as control. I hit my backhand with more confidence it seems. So thumbs up. Like R. Newman said recently, a good paddle can improve your game 10 to 20%. I will update in a couple of months. Cheers

I purchased a Ballr paddle back in November after your review. So far it is holding up well. Love the control. Best of all I love the handle length. I'm wondering about the difference in the two paddles.🤔 But I would love to try the Heat‼️
Heat has more power, better handle, and a bit more spin. Loses a bit of control but also has a larger sweet spot. I’d say it’s an objective upgrade overall.

Mmm I think I would go with the Ballr Heat just because it has a touch more spin, and feels a bit less stiff off the face. Just personal preference. There isn’t a huge difference in play to be completely honest. The BALLR Heat just really suits my play style! 😊

I think they are fairly similar in play spin wise and feel off the face. The BALLR is going to have a touch more power, and the Flow will have more pop and hand speed. But very similar paddles tbh. Your "keep on swatting in the free world" comment made me smile haha

How does it compare with a Vatic Flash 16mm?
More spin, more power, more pop, relative if not slightly larger sweet spot, but a bit less control for sure. 😊 if you need anything else let me know always here to help!

What’s paddle “pop?” & how do you measure it?
Pop is how hot the ball comes off the face when you punch the ball with a very quick short motion. You measure it by taking MPH of the ball from the same position hitting it with a very quick short motion and averaging the MPH 😊

How does the Ballr Heat compare to the Ballr pro?
The Ballr Heat is 10x better in every way to the pro. I could type out a bunch of stuff but it’s just a more premium experience in every single way possible.
Good review, I like how you throw up some numbers to compare similar paddles. Longer grip length seems to be all the rage these days, any recommendation on a paddle or two with 5" or less?
Top pick that comes to mind is the GRUVN MUVN 16V (soon to be released). Been testing it recently and if you like a short grip this is the play. It plays like a better version of a PaddleTek ALW-C or atleast as good. Not quite as poppy. But I really like it for a shorter gripped paddle. Or if you want a more elongated shaped paddle you could check out the GRUVN MUVN 16E 😊

How does the baller compare to the Neonic?
Very relative tbh. So many great paddles these days. Not a massive difference between the two. For me I do like the balance point and the feel of the BALLR Heat over the Neonic but they are both really great paddles at crazy good prices.

Heck yes... surprised to hear you say the double black diamond has a 9.1 power. Mine hits like a wet noodle compared to the flash or V7

months ago almost got the pulsar but i was able to grab the dbd which i find excellent albeit not that poppy. interesting that the baller and Forza both have significantly more pop but retain control, as id imagine more pop would come at the expense of a stiffer face- which makes controllability (drops/dinks/resets) less intuitive.
