with your hair up you always remind me of someone from the late 18th century- you know, white skin, massive wig, etc. there's a great video by the English Heritage YT channel called "Georgian Makeup Tutorial" if anyone's curious to see that. it's freaking amazing.

Ugh this haircut suits you so well!! It's a perfect blend of wild lioness and well put-together. You inspired me to do my first no-buy and I can't thank you enough. I've started wearing all the clothes in my closet that I haven't worn before, and it's starting to make me much more conscious of my shopping behavior. When I was about to make a stress/impulse purchase, I made an extra payment toward my student loans instead....whoo!

"Low maintenance" & "statement" are two of my favourite terms in makeup, so having those working in tandem is what my cosmetic dreams are made of!
I've mostly been experimenting with adding a pop of colour to my inner corner with an otherwise "no makeup makeup" look, to get that effortlessly chic vibe. I used to worry it would draw my eyes too close together, but the end result is so cool that I've stopped worrying about those beautifying details 🖤
And I'm 110% here for the title! Hahahah. I think the phrasing is just confusing enough to get people to click, rather than avoid it 😘

I’ve been doing a pop of color in the corner lately and I LOVE IT. I’ll have a completely natural slightly glowy look then shimmery sea-foam green or similar in the corner and it just looks like “yep. I did that.” It’s a fun and empowering look.

Aging is beautiful and it should be celebrated. I started getting wrinkles in my forehead when I was 18 and I panicked and the older I've gotten the more I've embraced them and the new lines that appear on my face as evidence of my life experience! I've never understood why youth is the standard for beauty.

*Grauve*. I like the contrast of the warmth in your cheeks and eyes to the cooler lip color. This look is also very approachable given the few tools that you use and the multiple uses that you have for the Wet N Wild brush (it's one of my favorites also). Could you film more videos using this lip color and other eye looks? It's really fabulous.

As someone with a perpetual babyface, I can totally appreciate your desire to look your actual age. I love that as I get further into my 30's I'm actually starting to look more adult and I prefer to accentuate those features than hide them. Your ideas about the appearance of age pique my interest, because we women consider the appearance of age our entire lives. What you say as a thirty-something is interesting to me as I consider my newly arrived upon decade of sixty. The optometrist (first visit to this one) entered the exam room this week, looked at his computer screen and then stopped, looked at me considerably and said, “HOW old are you?” I confirmed and he said, “You do NOT look like you are sixty.” What does sixty look like like? When I told him one of his contraptions he used to examine my eyes looked like a Viewmaster, he said, “There are a lot of people who don’t even know what a Viewmaster is.” “See? I told you,” I said.

This is a nice look. I saw someone do something similar (maybe you?) In the past and it reminded me of the tip I heard that to photograph well, use your blush in the crease of your eyes. Aaaaaaaaaah I've been eyeing Gone Greige since it released years ago and you just convinced me to get it. I, like you, really love brown lips and that color is so beautiful. I've also started applying my lipsticks the way you do and it had made me fall in love with my lipsticks all over again. I used to feel like lipstick looked like too much on me, too thick and obvious, but the way you do it really changed it for me.

When I started researching the brand about a year ago the cloud paints were by far the most hyped product but I didn’t wear blush so I wasn’t interested. Engulfed in the wonder that is the Flagship store I bit the bullet and the shade dusk has become (dare I say) my all-time favorite cheek product.

I’m obsessed with Gone Greige but I can’t find it anywhere. I’m currently using UD 1993 as my brown and I’m loving it so much. I feel like my lip trends have been backwards.
