Yashin takes no blame for that at all ,the idiot defender in front of him tricked him into saving the ball.
IT DIDNT LOL just because you scored and the best goalkeeper of all time didn't save it doesn't mean that you are good. And that didn't help Columbia James helped Columbia not you and the only reason you scored was because Lev Yashin WAS ILL.

Third; "IT HAPPENED TO HIM". When he took that corner and the soviet defender I believe it was Givi Chokheli who was supposed to guard the post, let the ball pass him thinking that Yashin was going to recover it but he didn't thinking his defender was going to recover it himself. That's why you see him flipping out on him. So it became a huge miscommunication between him and his defenders. Fourth; and most importantly "THEY BLEW A 4-1 LEAD". The game was already in the bag for them and they chocked. Fifth; also important to note that they finished at top of their group. So check your facts before you discredit Mr. Coll's legacy because it seems that your confuse from what being "ILL" is and suffering a little injury. By the way it's spell "COLOMBIA" not columbia.
