@Edson Borges Thank you for uploading this gem. What a great album! I have been listening to it on repeat since 6 am and it's almost 10 am. And my favourite songs are: December Will Be Magic Again - the best Christmas song I've ever heard♥️, Ran Tan Waltz, Wuthering Heights (of course) and Show A Little Devotion. Greetings from Poland to you, all Kate's fans and Kate herself. 😃♥️
@@lepidoptera9337 How do I know? Well, that's actually a quite thought provoking question; I'd reply to you that that's nothing to do with an artist running out of ideas, but with record companies always trying to make money out of an artist's work. What's your take on this particularly thorny issue then?
@@franciscobuendiadelmolino My take is that artists need to stand up for themselves there. There is absolutely nothing wrong with new versions and remixes, but they have to be done for the right reason. If somebody thinks that they can get more out of a song, then that's fine. I would claim that the orchestral version of Joni Mitchell's "Both Side, Now" is an artistically very successful re-issue. She was, for one thing, too young when she recorded the acoustic version. The song is much more powerful when sung by an old lady who can look back at a lifetime of experience. It also has a distinctly different meaning than a version by a young woman who hasn't made all her mistakes, yet. I would also call the PNAU Dua Lippa "Cold Heart" remix of four Elton John songs a very successful production. That's remixing done right and for the right reason. It gives a NEW audience something to enjoy. Most "Best Of" and "Re-issue/Remix" editions are just trying to milk the existing fans out of money they don't have. Shoorah! Shoorah!
@@lepidoptera9337 I totally see your point here, but then again artists depend on record companies to promote their work, otherwise audiences worldwide wouldn't be reached...Therefore, in my opinion artists should find ways to become more independent while making sure their work is appreciated by the public.
One time on Whose Line is it Anyway when they played that game where they pretend to be selling CDs, Colin said there was a song sung in a Drunken Auntie style. You know, that relative who embarrasses everyone at public events by singing while drunk. This version of Home For Christmas with the piano being unable to stay with the rest of the instruments is the Drunken Auntie playing it. 🥴😆
1 - Home For Christmas 0:00 2 - One Last Look Around The House Before We Go 1:48 3 - I'm Still Waiting 2:52 4 - Warm And Soothing 7:20 5 - Show A Little Devotion 10:05 6 - Passing Through Air 14:23 7 - Humming 16:28 8 - Ran Tan Waltz 19:44 9 - December Will Be Magic Again 22:31 10 - Wuthering Heights (Remix / New Vocal From "The Whole Story") 27:22
Its amazing how it does sound like the exact mid-point between the Big Sky/Cloudbusting type tracks from Hounds of Love and the type of stuff she was doing on The Sensual World
Kate Bush used to be able to create an emotional universe with three lines of lyrics. Now she writes a novel that has no effect and then uses a broken record effect in addition. It seems all of her self-respect is gone. That's sad.
Kate's music, so beautiful and original as always. Like a feather in the wind!
Kate Bush Is Everything!

Es wird von dieser wunderschönen und auch höchst talentierten Frau wohl nix mehr geben.Schade.
IMHO, "Wuthering Heights", as featured here, can only be described with this word: MASTERPIECE
How do you know an artist has run out of ideas? They are remixing their old work. ;-)
