Thank you for sharing, Peter. I was wondering if you had any experience hunting the Walk in the Water WMA. This is my 3rd season hunting, so I'm extremely new and wondering if anybody on the channel has any pointers. Thanks.

It's a very good hunt. Takes a few points to get it. I've never hunted it but I've applied but never drawn. If I were hunting it I'd look at the area on the west side near the lake. Not sure how wet that might be, but looking at the map, it's thick and dense, anything could live in there. Good luck

@peterupdikeswildtreasures4055 Thank you so much. I pulled it for archery, and I've never been there before. I'll definitely take a look at the west side and share my findings. Thanks again!

Do you use the same taxidermist for all your bucks? What do mounts cost nowadays? Maybe I'm just old, but I remember when archery/muzzleloader hunting was officially referred to as "Primitive Weapons Season." Nothing primitive about it these days!

Yea I remember the primitive ting too, I have three taxadermist represented on my wall. I like Masters in Orange county the best, I reckon you can pay 800.00 dollars for a hard one.
