Euroleague management, you must select awards according to data, no one could disapproval your choise. If you will select the player due to your appreciation score then why there are formal player ratings and indexes? People have right to criticize you as being a political and other sort of stuff. Adam Hanga is a great player but data says that the best defender player of the season is Ekpe Udoh. Ekpe is rebound & block leader of the full season and 3rd in the overall index rating. Your decision is an absolute mistake !

Baskonia got one of worst defense in EL this season, and Hanga get this award? Where is brain euroleague? He is not in first 5 in any list (steals, block, rebound)! Olimpyakos, Crvena Zvezda and Panatianikos have best defenders this year so this award need to go in some player in their teams... Ekpe Udoh is also great this season, same as Dunston! This is totaly wrong!!!
