Nice string descent at 2:36. Nice sustain before car explodes. Much more interesting than the winner. Possibly would prefer it a little more subtle at times - but that might be that the music is mixed a bit loud.
You are so right! It is an impressive orchestration witch fits what's on screen. So much better than the winner's submission (no offense, I respect David's work)
This is wonderful. I'm not going to disparage the winner - I think he was seriously trying to be inventive - but this is much more in line with the mandate, I think. Just my opinion, but if it matters to you, this is a great demo piece and one to be proud of.
OU lalala!!! This is a ballet, car ballet. It is wonderfully writen , executed and produced, hats of to you sir. Very powerfull. That misic shure tell's a story. Good luck.
Rich orchestral writing here! Everyone had a unique approach! So many voices! Unfortunately they had other plans! I know how frustrating it would be for you! Enjoyed your music, Ben!
Bloody well done! This ‘competition’ was a complete slap in the face for efforts like this. Mine was a first time attempt.
Thank you so much! I will have a listen to your entry. Thanks again Kieran

Thanks Stephen - that’s very kind.
@@benski1234 And it's nice to hear a score that's not trying to be Hans Zimmer.
This is so good! Why wasn't this in the top 5?
That’s very kind :)

yoggi79 thank you - I wanted to capture the subtle humour without going all out - I am glad you like it and I very much appreciate your comments :)

The strings in 1:23 remind me of one of Mahlers Symphonies... are you sure you're not related? ;P
Hehe thank you for listening
Excellent Orchestration, Ben, top notch samples & MIDI work.
Thanks Alan - really enjoyed your entry also
Sound is great

Great composition. I hope you uploaded to SoundCloud without the movie dialogs :)
The orchestration is impressive! Very well done, bro!
Thank you so much
Well done, I really like the pastiche writing and the whole thing goes against the norm in a tasteful way. In my list of favourite entries!
Thank you so much - what an encouragement!
Wow, whats on your master channel? it sounds beautiful and extremely professional
Thanks Quentin. There is actually nothing extra on my master channel but have layered up group/fx channels with subtle compression etc
