    What is the gauge of electric wires? 18 awg? 20 awg? Also what terminal connectors you use on the wires?

    Can you please tell me, can you read ME7.1.5 (A4 B5, '99, 2.4 petrol) also in boot mode? I have ktag, galleto v54 and mpps v18.

    Hello, i had problem when i was written map in the car (bmw 120d e87) with mpps v16 and had to abort process, now car wont start and mpps shows that the ecu not found and i cannot write my original file in car, what can i do? I tried Recovery slow and full data but no luck, some people say that i must press start buton once because of contact, pushing key is not enough?

      Your BMW probably has an ECU EDC16. That is something else. There you need to carefully open the ECU and do the recovery through the BDM service port. (Ktag, BDM100, Galletto) MPPS can't do that.

      Hey. I’m posting to this because my audi has same kind of problem. Mpps says ecu not found after programming new software and i’n trying to put the old back in. I have the me7.5 ecu audi a4 b7. Ssoooo, do I need to do this procedure done in this video and does mpps boot mode work?

      V minulosti jsem dělal 3PG ten jde. Ale tady bude nejspíš potřeba použít programátor pokud Galletto nenabízí možnost bootu.

    Did you write tuning file ( remap ) or just OEM file back?

    • @iamvehicle8596
      @iamvehicle8596  5 років тому

      You can write a tuned or orig file. But in tuned file you must have corrected checksum.

      @@iamvehicle8596 what you mean by correct checksum

    • @iamvehicle8596
      @iamvehicle8596  4 роки тому +1

      @@MKhanfar-MWK Each ECU uses a checksum to check the functionality of the software. A new checksum must be calculated each time data is changed. If you do not calculate a new wants, the car will not start. A tool like Kess, calculates a checksum automatically when you flashing. But Chinese tools (Galletto, MPPS) will not. You can see at 5:28 when the program says checksum is not supported.

      @@iamvehicle8596 thanks for clearing ,,, but when I get file with kess then like remove egr using software ( edit ) original file , does after that need to correct checksum before upload it to ecu using kess ? If yes how to correct checksum?

      Yes, checksum must be corrected. But Kess will do it automatically.
