I cannot believe Vogler's is still there. Lived in Ipswich from the 60's to the 80's my dad based at RAAF Amberley. Voglers was a second home to us RAAF kids. Model aircraft were cheap then. Lived in the UK for thirty years now. But Ipswich looks as though it has spruced up a tad. Look at that cinema..... whoopdedoo. Roads are much nicer too. Should have seen the old town back when. Quiet in the day but could be as rough as broken bricks at night in the 70's. Lots of pubs and young hoons like us doing the laps around town in our old Holdens and Falcons. Add to it dry dunnies and water tanks at many homes. The good old days...right. Miss it though.
