    I always have a “play the story or poem” activity in the library center. It’s something to use to retell or remember a featured story or poem-small world, felt board, sequencing activity, puppet theater. The library center is a favorite then!

    This was great advice! I typically start off with an empty bookshelf at the beginning of the year. And then, as we read books, I will add those books to the shelf. I keep about 12 books on the shelf at a time. Three books per shelf
