Rebecca’s Cheng is master class. She starts twisting with a slight delay from a pretty straight layout position which gives her amazing form.

On the video, Melnikova's form on the Morio was SOOO MUCH better than during the Russian championships
I like Sabrina's Moors. She also did a Chuso to direct front acro connection = J which should not be rewarded the same CV as direct AE / indirect CE connections. They are not the same. Her connection is much harder.
To be fair, Jade Carey's front layout to double double was only a 0.1 connection value as well
I wonder who will be the thrid floor worker for Brazil in the team final rotation. Rebeca, Flavia, and I would say Soares but Barbosa also has a great floor routine which can go into the mid 13s or higher if she upgrades

Becky's extra 6 tenths bonus will be everything. She wants the gold and is fighting very hard for it. The Olympic battle will be FIERCE!
This could be the most competitive bars season with Kaylia Nemour, Nina Derwael, Suni Lee, Shilese Jones, Becky Downey, and potentially Gabby Douglas.
She will not be contending for Gold AT ALL.
1) At maximum, she will have a 6.8 D on UB and that’s with ALL she’s planning to do (it may be a 6.6 because of the downgrade of the half turn). And would only score 15+ with an impeccable routine - which is very hard for her honestly.
2) she doesn’t have consistency
3) even with her doing a 6.5+ UB she might not even qualify for EF if all the possible contenders hit like they can.
She needs to improve her execution as much as she can if she wants to fight for it.

That you know of. We don't know what she's actually doing in the gym.
If Suni is healthy and sticks that new move consistently, she won't have a chance.
TBH, I think her just making the team, is gonna be more of a battle then this hypothetical GOLD bar race. But gym fans gonna gym.

That routine is already jam packed with difficulty also she is perfecting the execution. Try to remember Becky is a human being just like other gymnasts. She is not a robot to program.
@@leykimayriNo she needs the difficulty. Shilese barely won the bronze medal in 2023 with a 6.3D routine and nobody is on her level of execution other than Qiu
Melnikova. She looked so great at Russian Championships. Also Reese, she has big skills.
Her standing full on beam is really nice
Andrade could 100% pull off a Biles I on vault.
She may surprise us at All around final ??? After team final, she may upgrade the routines
no bc she pikes at the end, so if she do an extra half twist she will just fall

Simone's height, or lack of it, gives her an edge in performing that vault. What makes these moves unique to Simone is she's coming up with moves no one else is doing, with the exception of the Biles I on floor.

The fourth place princess recently had an injury.
Wouldn’t be surprised if she retires soon. She wasn’t really in shape.
I know she had an ACL injury 2 weeks before the Russia comp

I will never get over sabrina losing to flavia on floor. Yeah sabrina's music was weird as hell, but her tumbling was incredible.

Her tumbling difficulty has always been incredible. The issue is her execution. Bent knees, leg separation, flexed feet and pike downs. The deductions add up quickly. Add to that the obvious areas of artistry deductions then her absence from the Floor Finals Podium at Worlds made sense.
@@ifeanyienemo7697It makes sense under a CoP specifically designed to hammer powerhouse gymnasts without much talent for dancing. I personally don't wanna see someone medal on floor in Paris without at least one H skill.
Clearly, you underrate Flavia's extroverted style of performance. She has the ability to bring the whole package at times. Her big personality shines through. Today's FX demands the artistry, tumbling to blend into an overall entertaining package. Just tumbling like a robot is a thing of the past. IMO the style of FX like Jade Carey is wildly overrated. Gymnasts have a chance to show their personalities. Some show they have none.

incredible? LMAO Her music was Brazilian, she just forgot to pick up the art and execution of the Brazilian ones too. There is nothing to overcome, Flavia was much better🤭
