The official album of music from the Hank Williams film biography features several newly recorded interpretations of classic Hank Williams tracks, performed for the film by Tom Hiddleston and the Saddle Spring Boys; new versions of Hank Williams songs include "Hey Good Lookin'," "Move it On Over," "Jambalaya," and more.
If he wanted to take over Midgard he just had to sing. We would've all kneeled in an instant...
Good😊
Tom Hiddleston is a complete actor, whatever he does with love and excellent performance. Wonderful Hank Williams movie that he made a point of interpreting Hanks songs. Hats off to you Tom, congratulations.
Loki goes Country 🤠
Wow. That's an impressive range of work, Tom . . . . Shakespeare, Loki, Hank Williams . . . even more impressive when you realize that Hiddleston is a Brit and English is not his first language. LOL Kidding aside, he is a dead ringer for a young Hank Williams.
Ego sum homo vespertilionem English is his first language.
Yes, I know. He is a Brit playing an American singer in this clip. My comment was a joke.
Haha get it, but I think British English is more English-English than American English is you ask me lol
Amalie Kalvaa American English is closer to original British English than modern recieved pronunciation.
Not gonna check the comments.
Tom made an amazing work
Hank can't be replaced
But Tom can't be replaced either
Tom Hiddleston was the perfect choice for playing Hank
indeed he was. I couldn't agree more.
but he doesn't sound as good as sneezy waters
According to most of the surviving friends and family that knew Hank Williams they all said he was a bad choice.
There just hating on Tom

Goodbye Joe, me gotta go, me oh my oh
Me gotta go pole the pirogue down the bayou
My Yvonne, the sweetest one, me oh my oh
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou
Jambalaya, a-crawfish pie and-a file gumbo
'Cause tonight I'm gonna see my ma cher amio
Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be gay-oh
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou.
Thibodeaux, Fontenot, the place is buzzin'
Kinfolk come to see Yvonne by the dozen
Dress in style, go hog wild, me oh my oh
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou.
Jambalaya, a-crawfish pie and-a file gumbo
'Cause tonight I'm gonna see my ma cher amio
Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be gay-oh
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou.
FINAL CHORUS:
Jambalaya, a-crawfish pie and-a file gumbo
'Cause tonight I'm gonna see my ma cher amio
Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be gay-oh
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou.
This movie is soo underrated
Loki Even sings just to prank Thor. Thats the real prank Star
I think he did a great job playing ole Hank.
Hi Aunt Edna. How are you doing? Thank you for your sincere comment!!!where are you watching from?
I love this song! Tom Hiddleston is amazing!
I'm so proud of Tom! He did absolutely amazing! No, of course he doesn't look or sound like Hank, but oh bloody well! He did Absolutely amazing! Screw the haters, Tom! You were fantastic!!💞💞
This song was played in the end credits, right after "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry."
VOICE OF AN ANGEL OMGGGGG
This guy is too good
In 8th grade, I had a guitar glass. This was one of the first songs I ever learned on the guitar and and now that I’m leaving middle school, and leaving that teacher I had for those three years. So this song is actually meaningful to me in a way. And now the fact that Tom hiddleston is singing it makes this all the better
He's just too amazing.
Thanks for hank for giving us such beautiful song ❤️💝❤️💝❤️
Saw the light is a brilliant film Tom does a great job of being Hank and he has a lovely singing voice 😍🥰😘
Soy una mujer simple, de gustos simples. Escucho la voz de Thomas William Hiddleston y le doy like....
Hiddleston did a great job. No one could have done as well, definitely not any better.
A good-bye Joe, you gotta go, me oh my oh

Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be gay-o
Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou

Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou
So I just found out that my dad listens to the Spanish version of this song a lot and I've always liked it but I never knew why now I know why
Leaving out the was he the one to play Hank debate, agreed he's not a soundalike, But, the more I hear of Tom the more I WANT to hear and that for me is the sign of a real country singer
Agree 100%! Jambalaya is my fav country song for decades and my fav singer of it was always Waylon Jennings. But Tom makes it much funnier. I guess it's because Tom is so alive, funny, and passionate.
THW IS MAGNIFICENT....
Tanto tiempo y aún escucho tu voz, Tom. Amo todo de tí, eres un ángel... ❤️
El es perfecto, es imposible no amarlo😍😍😍
sii esto tiene tiempo pero es talento él es increíble espero que siga lo mejor para él por su energía ❤❤❤❤
Fantastic 🍻
Love it brings back alot of memories
Tom es de esos pocos artistas que hacen un cover de una canción y en vez de dañarla, la mejora ❤❤
no opines, Tom es mio..
Excelente interpretación
OH DEAR LORD
Lovesick blues!!!
Tom, você ficar lindo cantando essa música.
But sadly, the movie was underrated tho :(
Azreen Ramli In my opinion the movie sucks. The only good thing is the music.
Sort of; needed more Hank songs and less family drama.
Well respectfully Hank's unstable homelife is what inspired some of his best work.
was only 700 theaters too so it didn't really get a good shot a making money.
Amo a este hombre 😘canta baila actua y es super sexi
Love the flourish at 1;22

I love hank, not sure what to think of the movie though
Good
Not bad for a Pom!
Who else was playing an instrument while listening to this song? *raises up hand slowly*
Does playing the spoons count as playing an instrument?
Camera for five children for Israelh
Como mejoran las canciones :v ?
Is Tom really singing here?
Should have been Hank III, Tom is a GREAT actor I'm not saying anything against him. I just think they should have kept it in the family.
+j1980boy1 Hank Williams III is 43 years old and has no acting talent. You think he would've made a better choice to play a very complicated role for a person meant to be 22-29? What's more, Tom actually looks more like Hank Sr than Hank III.
I will not argue with anyone on this, because it is "my" opinion! Hank III is his Grandfather's image. Now you are entitled to your opinion and I respect it, please respect mine. Many blessings to you...
+j1980boy1 have ya seen what hank III looks like? Not knocking your opinion but for you to say he is "grandfather's image" is just wrong... that being said he sounds just like his grand daddy and they could have had him singing some of his songs on the soundtrack.
I just don't see Hank III being given the chance to play a leading role in a big budget film, and like the other comment said, his age doesn't really match up.
But I think he still looks young enough that it would be cool to see him play a small role as Hank, kinda like Shooter Jennings playing his father in Walk The Line. It worked well for that film, but I don't see him playing the leading role if it were a big budget film centered around Waylon. Same with the guys who played young versions of Elvis or Jerry Lee in Walk The Line
Tom carries it ok... and has some fun with it, but go listen to Hank.. His vocals just punch you in the gut. You feel Hank sing. Tom just cant do that.
