  • Falling Into a Massive Black a Simulation Film (USE HEADPHONES)
    I simulated a fall into the massive Black Hole "Gargantua" from the Film Interstellar. I tried my best to simulate a ambient and dark atmosphere to create the fall into the black hole as a scary experience. The massive Black Hole is the Black Hole from the film "Interstellar" and is a Addon for the Simulator SpaceEngine.

  • @ThatWolfFromHyruleGaming
    @ThatWolfFromHyruleGaming 3 роки тому +138

    This was interesting to say the least. Judging by the accretion disk around the black hole, I'd wager you'd be ripped apart by tidal forces before or after the event horizon or vaporized by the superheated contents swirling inside. Thats just the start.
    Several people already mentioned spaghettification so I'll spare that detail. Another thing that is often missed is how blindingly bright the photon sphere would be. Since light doesn't escape the gravity, there would be a very bright boundary where light is orbiting around the singularity. This would look pretty bizarre as light could theoretically come off the back of your head and come back to your face in this area, granted that the intense light doesn't burn your retina out of your skull.
    This is all based on an inactive black hole, one actively drawing in matter would be far more deadly.

    • @aknight1096
      @aknight1096 2 роки тому +8

      For larger black holes, you would actually survive entering the event horizon. The tidal forces are much weaker with larger black holes, ans you would only die as you got closer to the singularity, but you would forever be trapped while you were inside.

    Great animation! Great simulation of the fear. You are going to die, deprived of any sounds, only hearing your breath.
    This is probably the best way or most spectacular simulation for us humans, because we wouldnt even be able to fall into it.
    One minor criticism: If you let a black hole rotate, the light around it appears differently. That is the gravitational shift. The space around the black hole rotates and gets dragged along, kinda like in a 3D waterfall in 4D space. So one side gets dragged away from you (red shift) while the other side gets much mor accelerated to you, so much brighter and blue.
    I have read some other criticism in the comments, and spaghettification does not need to occur. Why? Because gravity goes with 1/r^2 and the event hoirzon goes linear in mass. In example you probably would survive the fall to the horizon with a bn solar masses black hole, IF we find materials to shield the high gamma radiation and magnetic materials. For our current space suits we would be cooked when entering the accretion disk. It is very fast moving, so imagine going into a waterfall of bullets.
    Also, what happens inside a black hole is speculative, you can have a point singularity, but then the black hole cannot rotate (schwarzschild black hole) in contrast to kerr black holes with a ringularity.
    There might be even the possibility that a firewall would destroy us and encode us on the event horizon ( to preserve locality and information i think), that is the holographic principle of string theorie:)
    Keep up the good work!

    the craziest thing about a black hole is that in theory if there’s essentially a giant gravity and matter vacuum, there has to be something that releases this gravity and matter. So yeah you’d definitely die in the black hole, but you’re going to be spit out somewhere probably trillions of light years from where you entered the black hole.
    If you manage to live, and we’re lucky enough to get spit back out near our solar system, you’re going to experience trillions of years in the past. earth wouldn’t exist yet.

This also matches up with the knowledge that we have about whiteholes with that being that they likely only become a white hole for s second before either returning to the state of a black hole, or I’ve also read before dying off at the end of the black holes life. During the split second that the wormhole could theoretically be created do you think it could eject out of a white hole before both the wormhole closes and both become blackholes again? what if a star is just a big bang for another universe and the black holes are the result of what happens in the parent universe.

    Doesn’t seem realistic. There is absolutely no possible way anything is approaching a black hole and not being affected by it’s gravity. As you approach that accretion disc - your entire body would be stretched to an atomic paste, in which would more than likely orbit the black hole. Not as much matter actually falls into the black hole. I think any matter that falls into a black hole just travel towards the singularity. I believe it’ll travel towards it (never actually reaching it) until the universe is old enough where black holes decay and release matter in the form of radiation.

      If it’s a supermassive blackhole ur much more likely to enter it as the tidal forces are not as stro on those

      @@SpaceCinemaYT you can end the video when the observer enters on event horizon, the foton MUST go to singularity (it's the only future for any particle inside event horizon), so we can't see anything inside it
