- Falling Into a Massive Black a Simulation Film (USE HEADPHONES)
I simulated a fall into the massive Black Hole "Gargantua" from the Film Interstellar. I tried my best to simulate a ambient and dark atmosphere to create the fall into the black hole as a scary experience. The massive Black Hole is the Black Hole from the film "Interstellar" and is a Addon for the Simulator SpaceEngine.

It’s crazy to think that if you fell into a black hole you could watch hundreds or thousands of years pass by in seconds because of how different time is when gravity is infinite
Dude when gravity is infinite you will be ripped apart in nanoseconds
@@Mike-yq6he well no shit Einstein this is all Hypothetical
That's a myth. You wouldn't see the Universe pass by, that would only happen if you were accelerating against the event horizon. If you were falling, you'd only see photons that fell in with you.
Just a few thousand years, if we're using space time. A black holes' impact in space and time really isn't that strong as it looks. Space and time are MUCH bigger then you're probably thinking.
Well it’d be more like millions and billions of years passing by the further you fall past the event horizon
huge props to the cameraman that took the footage

fun fact!
the blackness of the black hole isn’t actually the black hole itself, the blackness is just the light getting sucked out the area
the black hole is actually a tiny tiny dot that can’t be seen with the human eye
Ye, the singularity
Wowww thanks for the info. It amazes me even more
All the time
Except when its in your dream ar 3 am 😬
But like how can you not see a black hole when black holes are somewhat big? Like if I was in space right now… I would possibly see a whole bunch of stars but I wouldn’t see a black dot in the middle of space with stars being sucked in or surrounding it from a very far distance??
This was interesting to say the least. Judging by the accretion disk around the black hole, I'd wager you'd be ripped apart by tidal forces before or after the event horizon or vaporized by the superheated contents swirling inside. Thats just the start.
Several people already mentioned spaghettification so I'll spare that detail. Another thing that is often missed is how blindingly bright the photon sphere would be. Since light doesn't escape the gravity, there would be a very bright boundary where light is orbiting around the singularity. This would look pretty bizarre as light could theoretically come off the back of your head and come back to your face in this area, granted that the intense light doesn't burn your retina out of your skull.
This is all based on an inactive black hole, one actively drawing in matter would be far more deadly.
For larger black holes, you would actually survive entering the event horizon. The tidal forces are much weaker with larger black holes, ans you would only die as you got closer to the singularity, but you would forever be trapped while you were inside.
They say in the photon sphere light could theorically orbit but probably doesn't because it's like the sharpest knife edge and would be really unstable
nerd
exactly !
@@aknight1096 are and were. We have no idea what's inside, its a Schrodinger's cat situation if a living being enters a black hole.
The way the black hole shakes aggresively before it swallows you is creepy
hope I didn’t scare you to much^^
That’s what I was thinking to just pure horror
I wondered the same, like why was it shaky?
@@ikawba00bro it would not be a smooth entry-you’d either be ripped apart before or after you cross the event horizon, and plus the black hole is moving so fast,t its not going to be still lmao
I once had a dream that I fell into a black hole. I got shook horribly and the loud sound of wooshing took over. Then it was cold, like death. Ever since I've had that dream, I have had a big fear of black holes :)
Jesus christ dude.... 😳
@@Idk-fl2ed :)
@beelllp 😂
Almost had the same dream except I got torn apart and thrown into one of those bouncy houses in one piece as if the black hole didnt just tear me apart🥹
@@nyiah4827 I had a dream that I WAS in a bouncy-house thing that was an obstacle course but if you failed, you fell into the black hole and got reset to the beginning. It was an endless loop because you couldn't win the bouncy house.
Thats genius, actually now that I think about it, what if a Black hole really is just a portal to a White hole, I mean one comsumes one returns matter right
Yeah you're right actually, the white one returnes actually
@Scp 096 shut up u Kno nothing!!
@Scp 096 It would be more accurate to say that physicists think black holes COULD be a worm hole through space time or something like that but like someone said we may never know for sure. it’s theoretical but they wouldn’t say it if it didn’t look plausible on paper
Well if this would be the case, then how come they have such an enormous mass? Wouldnt they just spit it out through the corresponding white hole?
@@botten4187 well spitting out takes time, I mean like really long time for a thing that big. It's like a water tank with a small hole.
If I ever got terminally ill this is what I'd do (if there was a black hole nearby)
Great animation! Great simulation of the fear. You are going to die, deprived of any sounds, only hearing your breath.
This is probably the best way or most spectacular simulation for us humans, because we wouldnt even be able to fall into it.
One minor criticism: If you let a black hole rotate, the light around it appears differently. That is the gravitational shift. The space around the black hole rotates and gets dragged along, kinda like in a 3D waterfall in 4D space. So one side gets dragged away from you (red shift) while the other side gets much mor accelerated to you, so much brighter and blue.
I have read some other criticism in the comments, and spaghettification does not need to occur. Why? Because gravity goes with 1/r^2 and the event hoirzon goes linear in mass. In example you probably would survive the fall to the horizon with a bn solar masses black hole, IF we find materials to shield the high gamma radiation and magnetic materials. For our current space suits we would be cooked when entering the accretion disk. It is very fast moving, so imagine going into a waterfall of bullets.
Also, what happens inside a black hole is speculative, you can have a point singularity, but then the black hole cannot rotate (schwarzschild black hole) in contrast to kerr black holes with a ringularity.
There might be even the possibility that a firewall would destroy us and encode us on the event horizon ( to preserve locality and information i think), that is the holographic principle of string theorie:)
Keep up the good work!
Tearing a hole in the suit to suffocate sounds like a better alternative
Unrealistic, didn’t turn into spaghetti.
Thanks for the critic. Already received similar feedback. I’m working on a second version with another black hole, but the fall will be more realistic this time
What difference does it make? I'm sorry to say that either way in the end...he pasta way. 👀🤣🤣🤣
gargantua is large enough that wouldnt happen until you're hundreds or even hundreds of thousands of miles inside it
Do you remember when you got sucked into a black hole and eventually transported to another dimension is another time?

Haha love you man, thanks!
I remember having a nightmare about seing a black hole in the sky approaching our planet... I had the same dream with asteroids and planets... but the black hole one was the scariest.

That heavy fast breathing with anxiety!!! 😲
This is awsome! keep it up =)
Thanks man!
i literally never comment but you're so underrated!!! great job :)))
Thanks so much bro, appreciate it 🙏
the craziest thing about a black hole is that in theory if there’s essentially a giant gravity and matter vacuum, there has to be something that releases this gravity and matter. So yeah you’d definitely die in the black hole, but you’re going to be spit out somewhere probably trillions of light years from where you entered the black hole.
If you manage to live, and we’re lucky enough to get spit back out near our solar system, you’re going to experience trillions of years in the past. earth wouldn’t exist yet.
Gg, 200 subs 👏
Thanks bro! We should do a feature in the future. U have Instagram or Reddit?
@@SpaceCinemaYT Why not, I got reddit :) add me: DartankWork (I got discord too)
you forgot one thing. your perception of time would be different than just a seemingly still image of outside space. Instead, because you moving into a gravity well time would feel the same for you, but the outside world would speed up. that's only if you could survive such a thing
yup you right, but you wait for next black hole video. It will way different.

as i always thought. black holes are the legacy' of stars that fell through the fabric of space and lead to the next universe.
White holes are not possible. For whatever reason people assume black holes are portals to other realities, or exit to a white hole. They are not. Anything that falls into a black hole will be crushed into the singularity at the black holes center where it will remain for an unimaginable amount of time. They do not lead anywhere other than the singularity.
@@burgerboss1016 if I sound like a dumbass honestly my bad because I’m just interested in this stuff but am not very knowledgeable. But I’ve heard that wormholes are theoretically plausible but just for a split of a second before it tears again into two black holes. This also matches up with the knowledge that we have about whiteholes with that being that they likely only become a white hole for s second before either returning to the state of a black hole, or I’ve also read before dying off at the end of the black holes life. During the split second that the wormhole could theoretically be created do you think it could eject out of a white hole before both the wormhole closes and both become blackholes again? Again sorry if this just doesn’t make sense and is dumb lmao

ya know techically you cant even enter a black hole with the ACS disk around it cause that thing is nearly milion times or even more hotter than our sun soo even if you dont become it the disk would vaporize you before you even reach the event horizon
really
@@SpaceCinemaYT yeah it makes me intensly horny when i think about black holes
Hypothetically, sphagettification would defiently be enough to mangle our eyesight much to begin with. We can't possibly say, as human beings, or construct what something that already breaks principles we rely on to make a say on if it'd be true or not.

Time is money
Black hole has no time its always no time pass
So no money
what if a star is just a big bang for another universe and the black holes are the result of what happens in the parent universe.
Doesn’t seem realistic. There is absolutely no possible way anything is approaching a black hole and not being affected by it’s gravity. As you approach that accretion disc - your entire body would be stretched to an atomic paste, in which would more than likely orbit the black hole. Not as much matter actually falls into the black hole. I think any matter that falls into a black hole just travel towards the singularity. I believe it’ll travel towards it (never actually reaching it) until the universe is old enough where black holes decay and release matter in the form of radiation.
If it’s a supermassive blackhole ur much more likely to enter it as the tidal forces are not as stro on those
If you put in VR you it will scare the sh*t outta you
