You may be older than my 43yrs and more inland than 400km but it is what I use as lingo and honestly won’t change. It’s as tight as a camels ass in a sand storm so to say. On most grounds you should be able to use the SDC on 5 its highest sensitivity, I used one on a detecting tour out at Kalgoorlie and the bloke there was showing all the new comers how to use it and it was on a setting of 5 hope that helps you 👍🍺
Any chance of you doing a gold video using the Equinox 800.I know ya got bigger better detectors than the Equinox 800,though it will be GREATLY APPRECIATED by us smaller guys so we can find enough to purchase a bigger better detectors.love all the videos so far & seem to learn a thing or two or three from em.cheers champ.shaney Locke

Chalk and cheese, 5000 is good, personally id go sdc and 7000.

Id be going with a GM 1000 or Eqinox 800, SDC 2300 preferably if you can afford it
