What is a Wind Band?

The American School of Milan has a long history of having a wind band alongside offering choir and strings. But, "band" isn't as common here in Italy as it is in the USA. In this video, I give a very brief (and incomplete) history of the wind band in the United States and its comparison to wind bands in Italy.
