Hi, the washers on the right side, should be between the Tread Insert and Bar End weight that you get the important clearance to the throttle twist grip.
Found I have the same problem when turning the handlebar but don't seem to have any alternative brackets in the kit to fit over the cables rather than underneath?
@falcuspluscamera I'm starting to think that now, has crf1100 on the packing, but when I try to mount the left hand side it doesn't seem to clear the cables.

Maybe they sell you a wrong kit.
