Hope u all know Michelin guide doesn’t mean Michelin star. Guide is just a recommended by the Michelin inspector base on food quality. Price etc but not to the level of having a Michelin star restaurant

Lacks some ingredients, hence why they have to chipped out some of the meat of the roast pork due to burnt taste.. Not the tastiest roasted pork belly but the char siew is definitely better than the roast pork..
The difference between his roast pork and others is that he uses good quality pork ( the 3 layers ) that doesn’t use beta agonist. The pork is softer and fatter but it makes the best roast pork. It was done to perfection. Plus the fact that he brings it straight from the oven to you. It is moist, flavorful, crispy skin . It is more expensive BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT. If you want value for money….go elsewhere. This is a dining experience. I have been a patron for 20 years. Totally great. The only complaint is the wait is long and the hot and chaotic ambiance is not great.
Overated crappy char siew. Tasted better char siew at other places in KL and PJ. Shiity and avoid it. My girlfirend had the Siew yuk. Nothing special she said

I just checked their menu, it's damn expensive. The price is triple than other normal roasted pork rice at outside. They should provide a better dining environment, not like normal kopitiam.

@@SKW465 I don't really care about the comfortable dining environment. It's the shocking premium pricing just because of the Michelin recognition. Agree its just wayy too high to charge that. Looking at the process of the prep, i'm sure other similar restaurants go through a very similar process too. To pay double or triple the price and on top of that a long queue, to me its not worth it.
They could not come up with a better way to cook Roast Pork. they still using the old method charcoal which less effective and pork got burn. Look at pizza oven for Pizzahut compare to the old method and Turkish Kebab BBQ lamb, chicken
Then the taste will be different.. Ask your mother to feed you using rubber gloves and compare it when he feed you rove with her hand. The taste is different.

So many people to have crispy pork meat and chicken. The hotel owner should know how to prepare pork meat or grilled meat. The fires is over heat 🔥so they should know the limitation as no meat goes waste. Otherwise pork meat is heated and all got burnt. They must be earning handsomely as seen in video. 🤠😎
In KL are way better places to eat crispy pork ,Michelin award place is over priced and not as good as I expected.That is not only my opinion, but also the local chinese-malaysian guys.

Also, 80 ringgit for damn near 500g of meat. Damn count me in.
