This video was so encouraging ! I’ve been trying to make the perfect candle since June and after creating over 50+ different candles I’ve had no success ! But you really pushed me to keep trying and not to give up !

I've been binge watching your videos and I wanted to ask where you get your big bottles of fragrance oil?
This was helpful. I’m a beginner as in I haven’t even started yet. Do you think amazon is a good place to start ? I would hate most to waste my money on wax or wicks that don’t work. Also can you do a video on candle lingo ? Going from a candle lover and user into making one and into wanting to start a business is a lot more then anticipated when I hear all these different phrases and scientific mathematic details and steps. It’s a lot more complex then the typical average consumer thinks.

Hi Tiana this question may be total off subject. This is about Etsy. If I had my own thermal printer,I wouldn't have to use etsy labels to ship out a package?
You can use any third party shipper I'd you'd like, and then you can update the shipping information in Etsy.
@@TianaCoats Im sorry im not understanding. Im new to All of this. So how does the thermal printer come in to play? Is it better to use your own? And not Etsy? I feel like im not successful on etsy...every dime I make

You can use anything to print labels. You don’t need a thermal printer. Just print it out and tape it down on a regular piece of paper if that’s all you have.
She’s saying you don’t have to use Etsy for the actual shipping label that you would print out. You can use anyone. You can use USPS, UPS, FedEx, PirateShip, Shippo etc
I was wondering if you’d have any suggestions about business insurance for a candle business (I’m only a minute in sorry if you mention it here lol)
I use www.nextinsurance.com/. I suggest talking with a rep to make sure you've got all your bases covered.

No, I don’t have a degree. I didn’t even finish my first semester of college. I have wanted to give up many times, but I am just very passionate about what I do and I enjoy learning new things.

Hi!! I’ve watched a lot of your videos! I love your real ness and really appreciate the information! I ordered a kit from Candle Science to start my business but when I joined FB Groups they said I absolutely needed product insurance first before I sell. Is this true? It kinda deterred me. I know it may sound crazy lol. The 5k estimate was for the year up until I made this video. Everyone’s finances is different and we have 2 incomes and I provide health insurance and my husbands income pays the mortgage and other living expenses. We don’t have debt or car payments, and I personally don’t really care to buy anything. I just keep the money in the business bank and use it to grow. The business made 6 figures in 2020. I saved enough that we do plan on using some of the money to go towards a house soon.
