Just started subscribing to your channel. Really enjoying the content. Very authentic. My husband and I are moving to Sri Lanka in June 2023. Love it if you can share some more footage of the wonderful architecture, historic buildings etc....we are in property development/refurbishment and are in love with Sri Lankas antique houses. x
First time i visited Sri Lanka was in 2017, I spent 1 month only and it was amazing journey. I was staying at different places, at many guesthouses with lovely sri lankan people as a hosts. Truly felt welcomed wherever i`ve been at. In 2018 I decided to come again for longer to explore more of the island`s culture. That time I rented a big adventurous motorcycle and went for my road journey. So there was a road from The nine archs bridge in Ella to the town called Passara, on that road was a lot of construction work and i felt like I have just the right vehicle to pass through that road -) But unfortunately my motorcycle`s bearings in the front wheel cracked and started to whistling. That happened in Monaragala, I stopped near Honda sell office and ask guys who worked there if they know where is repairing bike shop, and these guys helped me so much. They go with me to repair shop, ask and explain about what to fix in the bike, such such decent and good-natured people, my bike was fixed in 1 hour. I will never forget it. So while I was watching this episode, Sheneller reminds her last adventures and spirit of Sri Lankans - I experienced same help from sri lankans, and after 2018 I came back in 2019-2020 and again in 2022 because it is always pleasure to come back! I am from Ukraine and want to say Ayubowan to the people of Sri Lanka and see you soon =)
I've seen your Jaffna episodes and was quite impressed with the way you explore each city you have visited. Today I subscribed to you again after seeing your cycle long journeys due to fuel issues, the Kalpity episode was the first done by cycling, ... Now the wilpattu national park visit was so exciting to watch. Thank you, guys👍
Im so enjoying these vlogs man!!!! Thank you for showing the beauty of Sri Lanka!!! So proud of you two!! A big fan Pol roti with lunu miris!! The one they use kochchi!! And then a cup of hot fresh milk. Very famous in colder parts of the country. Udadumbara!!
6:50 Simple suggestion. If possible, Please try to get interview of some local people. Question can be what they are thing about your travel, or when they come to know about your cycling what they express, etc. Keep moving. Wishes form Bangalore, India.
Thanks a lot! and yes if you are referring to the Sri lankan Busses. they are definitly more dangeour than our elephants. I'm certain theres a stat to back that statement too.
Too much story telling try to show what you do day to day without explaining every single detail , find the algorithm which will get more views unfortunately might not be this way, to the amount of effort and commitment you guys do, sad to see not getting the desired views
Thanks a lot for the feedback. As you can imagine this has been no easy task to document this trip as it is just the 2 of us cycling filming & editing everything on the go. We have been experimenting with a few different styles for this particular series. its a learning curve and we will figure it out. We really appreciate the feedback and concern.
Good try … but not a best one this time . Not a good video. We like to see views and sitings while you are cycling…it’s nothing here apart from yourself guys. It’s bit boring..though 👍
Thanks for watching! This is a different kind of series from our usual works, as you can imagine it is extremely difficult to cycle around the island, when you add filming and vlogging on top, it becomes an extremely challenging task. So I would not recommend for you to expect the same style of videos you have seen in the past from this series, this journey is about the challenges we faced and things we experienced ☺️ you can expect a mixture of both here views and our experience.
Hope you guys enjoy this vlog! leave a comment and let us know what what Sri Lankan food is your absolute must have.😃

It’s incredible how green Anuradhapura is considering it being in the dry zone.
Exactly what I thought too.
