I get this person is driving extremely slow for the highway. You can still see a few people who were not paying attention to the road in front of them. And whomever is doing the commentary please stop. Too many assumptions. Assumptions should never be voiced as part of narrating these types of videos. The officer that preformed the first pit, is the same officer in the beginning of the video, had the same unit number on the roof. Logically, a lone officer will wait for back up before they pit.
Yeah, our current thinking is to help educate the public. We don't get everything right, as you noted above, but we hope it helps! (And we figure people can just mute if they want.)
If you don't like reading/hearing assumptions, then don't read and wear earplugs. But don't tell people not to try to make sense of their world based on observations and past experience. People who succeed (or avoid trouble) are people who are good at making predictions.
I don't like assumptions because it is misinformation. Muting doesn't prevent people(and there is a lot of them) who can't think critically and will take this information as truths. I think police officers have dealt with backlash from misinformation the last few years. Plus, be able to hear the slurping of his beverage, really takes away from the professionalism. They asked for feedback, I gave them some. People telling me to mute, could do the same and move past my comment vs needing tell me to mute what they asked for. Feedback.
Sad that one unstable person driving a car is endangering all those around him. Safety knows no political, racial or ethnic differences. 20 MPH on a highway is simply unexceptionable. Thank you officers for dealing with this madness.
If you drive from the Metro to Duluth and back, there's ALWAYS someone in the left lane, trying to block the flow of traffic. I've never seen someone do it at that speed, however.
Wow great job with play by play action especially info on video availability with minor fender benders. I never knew that. Also discussion about pits and why officers use or don’t use. Good stuff💪
The officers are extremely hesitant in their movements at several points. They had no hustle to block traffic, turn around when the suspect did, anything. That was painful to watch.
“When you’re running from the police you don’t have to bring your water bottle with you.” “Ah there he dropped it, so he littered.” Wow, damned if you do, damned if you don’t 😂 Good vid!
There was an Officer behind the vehicle that should have stayed on the tail of this car n matter what to protect the public and not worry about the police car going off road to do so. If they thought this individual was unstable they should have stopped all the traffic approaching from behind to make sure this unstable person would not just run into them. Serve and Protect.
Simple- drive so as to endanger random people, and deadly force is authorized. They would NEVER extend the same patience to someone with a .22 pea shooter with it's measly 150 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, but drive like that with THOUSANDS of ft/lbs and you get a pass? Why?
When you're driving 15 mph is not the same as speeding at a hundred mph. No need to shoot him in this scenario. You must be an ex-cop, the gun is the answer to everything.
I'm super confused as to why he was driving so slowly on the highway but yet tried to run as fast as he could to get away. Maybe his car was overheating or had some sort of trouble but then why wouldn't he just take an exit and get lost in the city streets instead of doing circles and easily getting caught.. but then again if we try to understand idiots we'll be trying to think all day about things that have no logical reason behind them.
IIRC the RTMC is in Roseville near Snelling and 36 (good size grey building with a big radio antenna) along with the State Patrol dispatch center for the entire state.
Yep, I think so too! I'm not quite sure if they've consolidated the entire state there yet or not (let me know if you hear anything or know for certain.)
It wasn't the best camera angle for judging distances, but it appeared the officer at 1:00 could have followed the suspect into the U-turn since he had more time than the suspect to do so. According to the narrator, the cop had to drive to the next exit, which must have been miles away from the time it took for the cop to catch up to the turtle-speed driver. Why? Surely there were more restricted-access U-turns before then.
As I watched this video, the wind outside my home started blowing. If the bad person had just put their vehicle into "neutral", the wind could have moved the vehicle faster than the vehicle was being driven. 🤔😄
I think it's brilliant to drive so slow, because they will cause a traffic jam and slow down police. Of course, i don't think they did it deliberately.
I thought that was the reasoning behind it, but the cops can just drive on the shoulder to catch up. I don't know about that state, but where I live, I've seen cops fly through the shoulder.
I think all cops should take a turn behind the wheel of a Demo derby car so they know how to stop and keep another car from moving. That second squad just let the dope run past his car to potentially crash head on into the oncoming motorists.
Luv your channel... gotta ask.. "Pit Maneuver Certified"??? Just wondering if uncertified officers would not perform a Pit Maneuver when they have the chance 🤷♂️
There is just one reason right there we NEED far more officers. It is 2023 and things are getting even worse for the satanic evil. GOD BLESS ALL officers.

Wow! Great narration of the slo-mo action play by play.
