If only children would visit there instead of the mall they would learn so much thank you

Wow! Haven't been there since Primary School!! will Definitely have to return soon!
You definitely should 😁 especially the Arts Gallery
My last visit was about 3yrs ago. But I was also brought there by my primary school way back in the late 70's just before I started secondary school. Great memories. It has changed from then to now a lot. I will definitely visit again.
My last visit was a few weeks ago, lol, but I also have to revisit and spend more time taking in everything…. I can only imagine what it was like in the 70’s
I didnt know the museum had all of this, thank you for sharing 🙏
You're most welcome

You’re most welcome and yeah it’s a much more than I thought it would be, and definitely worth visiting a few times
@@TrinbagoVibes true. And good idea!
This is a great museum tour.
Lots to learn here.
Would have liked to see the evolution of the national instrument ( steel pan) though.
Keep exploring trini vibes.
Thanks Lindon, evolution of the steel pan is a fantastic idea and they have an empty room, next visit, I'll see if I can through that suggestion in to the curators of the museum, I think I'll even see how I can do a video about it on the channel sometime in the future
This brings back memories. I used to go to CIC and we had a few school trips there; we visited the Cazabon section for our art class. My friends and I also visited when we were nearby. There used to be a cinema across the street, Deluxe, and one day we come real early so we buy we tickets and decide to go to the museum. We were so engrossed we end up missing almost half the first movie. The place was a time suck in a good way. It nice to see the changes. Will have to check it out when I in Trinidad.
Most definitely…I stated about 2 hrs to cater to spend here, but it can easily go longer, so missing half the movie is understandable, lol
Beautiful museum… so important for people to remember their history… great video!!
Indeed it is and it’s currently undergoing some renovations
My last visit there was a few years ago but they had some very interesting stuff!
Indeed and right now they are undergoing an upgrade
A MUST GO SEE!
Most definitely
Thanks for the video. It’s time we build a modern state of the art museum!
You’re most welcome, and I agree..some small improvements in this one and we’ll be on our way
Is there any place for a wary visitor to sit and reflect? When I was there last I was a child. It was temperature wise quite hot as well. I think that air conditioning isn't an amenity there at the museum. Please somebody, let me know. Figuring out the best time of day to visit is going to make it easier for me to recommend the place to guests visiting my place.
Apart from the court yard, no there isn't but yes they need more A/C units to keep the temperature favourable, will definitely put in those suggestions to the curators and hopefully they can be implemented soon....I think the best time to visit will be in the evening, afterwards your guests can get food right across the road by the Savannah
I'm from Cape Town South Africa.Would love to visit soon
Whoa big up 🇿🇦, hopefully you can
They should allow you to take pictures just like anywhere in the world.
Hopefully in the future they do, as they are currently upgrading the facility…but honestly no one going to really stop you if you do take photos
Very informative and interestingly valuable video. Thank you so much
