Man u real good. I does run through$100 a day on food with ease not because I'm rich which I'm not, but I love to eat. This video gives me a new perspective and a hell of a challenge
Honestly this is pretty good, I've been talking to my parents a lot about learning to spend their money better but they just keep buying expensive food after expensive food, and cooking every single day and wondering why we have no groceries at the end of the month, but this shows that 1 person only needs a little over 100 dollars to eat comfortably as long as they chose the right foods and not spend needlessly, I would personally buy a carton of eggs, and a pack of rice, just make egg fried rice and survive off of that for a couple weeks

Ihu with the snacks, I normally use milk, sometimes almond milk, cinnamon, grated cocoa nibs and a touch of honey…so eating this with just plain water was very very challenging, it saved me cuz it was filling, but it was rough, lol…I’m happy you enjoyed it

pack soup is $5, 2lbs of flour cheap too. make soup and add dumplings. pumpkin cheap $3 a lbs. patchoi and bodhy cheap. a card of chicken is $19 so that is stew chicken right there
I did something similar during covid but it was on a lost bet, it was 500 for the month including weekends and it was easier than expected,10 packs of lentil peas for $8 each, a pack of pigtail for $30 and a cheap bottle seasoning for around $20, a packet of ketchup for $7 , 10 packs of 400g macaroni for $10 each and two 2lb bag of flour and that was lunch for a month and it cost $269. For breakfast was a Jamaican evaporated milk that was $5.25 10 of those plus 10 packs of oat for $9 each and a 10lb bag of sugar for $50 for $192.5

Great vid, I really enjoyed it. I felt a little sorry you had to kinda eat the oats so much, I would go crazy with such a monotonous diet but rell props for the amazing effort.
Thanks Marc and I appreciate that wrt the oats…it was rough until I added peanut butter to it Friday night, that was a game changer, abit late doh
Love this one!
I’m happy you enjoyed it
I came for the Mission Imposible feature 😂😂😂😂
This man makes me smile...😆😃
I’m happy you enjoyed it 😁
I love this video, things hard with me sometimes me n my 3 kids live on $30 in ting to eat for at least 2 days!!
That’s extremely challenging, I pray you get an ease up soon
Love the challenge. I used to do this but for weekday lunches only.
Now that I can do, lol, thank you Patrice
If yuh have a few fig trees yuh could probably pull of that challenge with green fig alone, and if yuh not working then yuh have enough time to catch crab and fish but doh touch the nayba yard fowl
Lol, that’s true, the silk fig wasn’t ready at the time of this challenge and unfortunately I had to work
Nice video, Rajeev. You should have tried those chinese groceries dotted around the smaller towns. They open til 8pm on Sundays too. Even Maharaj Better Deal in Aranguez and Price Club in Chaguanas goes til 8pm.💯
Thanks bro, I just went with convenience, especially after a work day
Your video was awesome bro! I’m not in Trinidad at the moment but watching this made me feel right at home……Now ah feeling for a Doubles wee 😂
lol, much appreciated and glad you enjoyed them
In trinidad not tobago, and no dinner here, congrats to you!
Extremely difficult here!
It was definitely eye opening and challenging, especially asking for a doubles
I absolutely loved this video idea! It's very eye opening in terms of how some people may have to watch how they spend there money. I remember when I started to work, I would go to the sale isle in JTA C3 to start my grocery shop from there on. Keep it up!
Thanks Colleen and starting from the sales isle is a great strategy
Are you dumb, he didnt factor in him spending x amount of dollars to go everywhere he went for the week ( gas) nor did he run on the average person's work week to show if its truly possible, to buy food sure 100$ can get you a weeks worth of FOOD but survival incorporating EVERYTHING is not 100$... Dont get tied up the economy is bad and this guy is peddling this idea that its fine and we are the problem when really its the powers at be.
good morning to you!i really enjoyed this video, it shows the real life challenges that many people are facing, love how you squeezed in your doubles! you did well my bredda,,,,,love it, sana here
Thanks Ellis, yuh know I hadda squeeze in meh doubles🤣🤣 but yeah doing this was really an eye opener for me

I survived on 30 tt for the week while working but I cooked a big pot with coconut milk ad ate that for for days straight lol....I also drank lots of herbs tea...
That’s impressive, but what was the cost of the big pot? Or was it $30 worth of ingredients
@@TrinbagoVibes ingredients only lol ..if you check the hidden cost of everything we'll can't buy nothing out here..

Hi there. Big fan. Old fashioned rolled oats needs to be boiled and not microwaved. They are healthier than instant oats and have a lot more fibre because they are more natural. Instant oats is ok to microwave. Toodles. Keep up the great work. Ah love it!
Oho, look how I just learnt something, much appreciated for the info DCBS 😁 and thank you
